First date

Serena's P.O.V

After Magcon ended, I go to my room to get ready for my date with Shawn. I don't know where we are going, but he told me to dress to dress casual so I pull on a pair of black skinny, a 5sos tank top, and my galaxy vans. Once I am done, Rachel comes in and helps me with my hair and makeup. My makeup is natural, and my hair is in loose curls. As if on cue, there is a knock on the door. I stand up to go answer it and see Shawn standing there in a Hollister T-shirt with a plaid flannel on top and khakis.

"Wow! You look gorgeous," he exclaims smiling at me.

"Thanks, you look amazing too," I say blushing a bit.

"Are you ready to go?" he asks holding out his hand for me to take. I nod my head and intertwine our fingers.

"So, where are we going?" I ask excitedly as we walk out of the hotel.

"You'll find out soon enough," he smirks. He's so adorable when he smirks. We continue walking until we reach a park. Just inside the park, there's a red and white checkered blanket laying on the ground with a picnic basket sitting on top of it. There are little fairy lights intertwined with the branches of the tree above the blanket. It is truly amazing.

"Is this all for us," I exclaim over joyed.

"Yes, Rachel told me your dream date was always a picnic and a walk in the park. So, I figured it was the least I could do for a beautiful girl like you," he says walking us over to the blanket and sitting down patting the spot next to him. I obviously sit down.

"This is so amazing. You really didn't have to do all this," I exclaim still astonished by all the work he put into this.

"I know, but I wanted to," he smiles tucking a strand of hair behind my ear leaving my skin tingling where his touch was.

"I'm not that good at cooking so I just made sandwiches and brought some juice. I hope that's okay," he explains slightly embarrassed.(A/N Shawn is so classy.)

"It's perfectly fine," I giggle a little at his embarrassment.

As we eat our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and drink our grape juice boxes, we really get to know each other better.

"Would you like to go for a walk?" he asks me after we finish.

"I would love to," I smile standing up,"but what about all this?" I ask motioning to the picnic.

"We'll get it on the way back," he assured me taking my hand in his as we begin to walk. We talked about random things and laughed the whole time. By the time we reached the blanket again, the sun had already set, and the stars are twinkling above us. Shawn must had seen me looking up at the stars because he asks,"would you like to stay a little longer and watch the stars."

"Please?" I ask more as a question than a statement.

"Of course," he smiles laying down on his back, and I join. We talk and look at the stars until I let out a yawn.

"Are you tired?" he asks sitting up.

"Kind of," I say.

"Okay, hold on let me pack everything up," he says stuffing everything into the basket. We walk back to the hotel and to his room confusing me a bit.

"I was thinking we could watch a movie, but only if you want," he explains clearing up my confusion.

"Sure, lets go," I smile. He unlocks the door, and we walk in. We watch The Notebook. Yes, I chose. About half way through the movie, I start to fall asleep leaning on Shawn's shoulder.

Just before I fall asleep, he leans in and kisses my forehead before whispering,"I really like you, Serena."
