chapter 5

I woke up the next morning barely able to open my eyes.
But when I sat up and looked in front of me I screamed because someone was in here with me i turned the light on and dimitri came running in and tackled the person. He had them pinned to the floor when I stood up. He looked at me and noticed I was wearing his top.
I looked to the person on the floor and pulled dimitri up he stood next to me and I said to the person in front of me
"Get out"
"Rose please"
"Get out" I shouted
He walked towards me but dimitri walked in front of me.
Then lissa walked in she gasped.
"I swear if I have to tell you to get out one more time I'm going to hurt you"
"Adrian I'd listen to her if I were you" lissa said
"Rose just one minute please I need to talk to you"
"One condition" I said
"What"
"Guardian belikov here is gonna stay with us"
"Fine" he said

Lissa walked out and I sat on my bed, dimitri stood next to me and Adrian stood opposite me
"So what do you want Adrian"
"I'm coming back"
"I don't care"
"Rose please you have to forgive me someday"
"Forgive you" I laughed slightly
"You tried to kill me"
I sensed that dimitri was angry
"Rose that wasn't me that was the charm"
"For the charm to work a part of you had to want to kill me, you can stay here i know lissa missed you and the boys, you can get a ride back to the academy with us in two weeks but don't expect me to speak to you, I will forgive you one day but that is not today. Now get out of my room and lissa will show you your room"
As I said this lissa walked in
"There aren't any other rooms left"
"What"
"Well you have your own room, Mason and Eddie have there's, Albertas is across the hall from mine and Christians and dimitris is on the other side of the house"
"Damn it" I paced around my room trying to think of something
But before I could say anything dimitri cut in
"He can have my room" lissa nodded and walked Adrian to his room.
"Where are you gonna sleep"
"I'll sleep on Albertas floor"
"No you won't I have perfectly good couch" I said pointing towards the sofa in the corner " you can sleep on that" I added

"Rose" he was about to argue with me but stopped and nodded.

Dimitri went to get his things and i got changed and then i went downstairs.

Once everybody was there we decided where we were going today
"I reckon pyro should pick today"
Everybody looked at me strangely
"What" I asked
"Your being nice to Christian what's the matter" Mason said
I didn't answer that question
"Christian just pick were we going please" I said as dimitri sat beside me.
He knew I was agitated with Adrian being here he didn't know the story but he knew I'd tell him if he asked.

"Let's go on a walk"
"Ok" I said and I walked outside and we began to walk round the trails.
I was stood next to Eddie then lissa with Christian, then Mason with Adrian and then Alberta and dimitri in the back.

After a while we stopped to rest for a while I tried to stay away from Adrian but he always sat near me.
"Rose me trying to kill you wasn't entirely my fault"
I looked at him and he moved quickly but not quick enough I charged for him with tears streaming down my face and I punched him again and again until dimitri pulled me off him
"Rose stop"
He let go of me
"You come near me again I will break more than just your nose" I said walking back to the house.

Once we got there dimitri made food for everyone and they all ate it downstairs but I just went upstairs. I got changed and just sat in my bed thinking about what he did to me, a few minutes later I fell asleep.

Two hours later I woke up screaming, with dimitri being close by he jumped up and sat down on the bed next to me.
"Roza are you ok"
"I dreamt about that day"
"The one with Adrian"
I nodded
"Do you wanna tell me"
"I had just finished in class with lissa and she went to see her brother as I went to my room to pick something up. As I opened the door I was startled by Adrian, we always used to talk in my room and I didn't think anything was up so I just walked in but when I turned around he flipped me and I hit my head on the table and it knocked me out. The next thing I knew I was in the clinc with three broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder, two black eyes and four stitches in my head where I had hit it on the table. I have no idea how I get there or who found me but I never told anyone about it"
"Why"
"Because he wasn't just my friend he was lissas as well, if I told her what he did it would ruin their friendship and I can't do that to lissa. I'm mad at him yes but one day I will forgive him but not just yet, if you hadn't of pulled me off him I would have done much more than just break his nose" I said with tears streaming down my face.

He pulled me into a hug and I fell asleep again but before I did I heard him say something in Russian
"ya zashchishchu tebya, moya lyubov"
I knew what he said because I'd took a Russian class a few weeks ago cause I was annoyed with him saying stuff about me.
It translated into 'I will protect you my love"
Before I fell asleep i put my head in his chest and said
"spasibo tovarishchu"
