chapter 17

I woke up screaming again. Dimitri came running out of the kitchen and held me.
I hadn't realised that everyone was looking at me until I dried my eyes and stood up.
Adrian looked at me to make sure I was alright I nodded and walked to lissas room and waited until she came in.
"Are you ok rose"
"I'm fine liss I promise"
"Good because I need my best friend back because I've missed her for so long"
I smiled and hugged her.
We walked back into the living room where dimitri had gotten me a change of clothes.

I walked into the kitchen and looked out the window. Then I felt two arms wrap around me, when I turned around dimitri was stood in front of me.
"Are you ok" I asked him
"I can't help but keeping thinking about what you said about me not being here for you"
"Dimitri I didn't mean any of what I said I'm sorry"
"I know you didn't but you were right, I wasn't there for your birthday or anything that you did and we were gonna tell people" he said
"I know and I don't blame you for any of that"
"Do you still wanna tell people"
"Well my friends already know so there's nobody to tell"
He nodded but I knew he felt sad.

So we walked back into the living room and we went to the dining room.

We were all in our own clothes apart from dimitri who his guardian uniform on because he was on duty this morning in the dining room.

Once we were there dimitri stood by the door and everybody else went to get food.
Once we sat down I looked to dimitri who was taking to Alto, Dimitri and Kirova then to lissa
"What's wrong" she asked me
"Dimitri said that he wants to tell people about us but my friends already know so there's no one else to tell"
"Rose what about his friends, yes Alberta knows but what about his other ones and he wants people to know your his"
"I'm about to do something bad"
She smiled
"Then go and do it"
I stood up and Christian asked lissa
"What is she doing"
I stood up on the table and shouted
"Everyone shut up"
Everybody looked at me and I was starting to regret what I was about to do.
I looked to dimitri and smiled.
"So as you all know I just got back from vacation but that's not entirely true"
"Rose what are you doing" Mia shouted from the table by dimitri
"Something I should have down ages ago" I said
"I wasn't on vacation i was visiting my boyfriends family"
As I said this a load of people whistled and I smiled
"Rose" Alberta said
"What"
"Are you sure your doing the right thing"
"Yes"
I looked back up and dimitri was stood by lissa so instead of talking more I jumped onto him and kissed him.
"I knew it" Alto shouted
Everybody looked at him and laughed nobody had ever seen him like that.

Dimitris shift finished and we all went back to lissas house.
"So what should we do" I asked
"Sing" Adrian said
"What" lissa gasped
"Rose is an amazing singer and I think she should sing for us"
"You Sing" dimitri asked
"Yes" I said sitting on his knee
And I began to sing Runnin home to you.

Once I was done everybody looked at me and smiled
"You have a beautiful voice my love"
"Thank comrade" I said kissing him

I knew I'd always have dimitri and I was glad about that and tomorrow I had my guardians test but I wasn't worried.
