I could hear Katie's giggling. Her beautiful smile plastered on her face. I know, she's 7. But what's the harm in having fun and making her laugh. Especially since I hardly see her. She is a paladin after all. Protect and whatnot. I enjoyed these little moments. But that all changed. Zarcon came into our life when we Katie was 14 and I was 16. He may or may not have managed to injure the paladins while Katie was out on an errand and he may have kidnapped me and Sam (our father). Yep, we are major weaklings physically and stronger mentally but you can't blame us. We were in a room with nothing. Literally it was the thinking room. It was a 'blank' canvas. Meaning it was bland and literally pure white hollow space. Nothing in it, nothing. So now, here I am, in a cell. Grasping onto those happy memories of Katie.

"Hey, Prisoner smarts. Your sister, the green paladin, has commuted suicide. All because you're gone." The guard laughed. Clenching my jaw and grasping the ragged clothes where my heart should lay I began to let salty droplets run down my pale skin.
I knew it was a fake tale, but it got me so. So angry? No depressed? No wait I couldn't think.

Katie's POV

I saw blood. I saw bone and I saw skin. I fell to my knees. Screaming out to god.
"No!" I stood and ran to my lion. I don't care if I die, as long as my brother and father aren't dead.
I thought of my plan.
'I could disguise myself as a prisoner who is a brainiac, get in a cell with Matt and dad.' That's my only plan. So that's what I'm going with.

The next day I sat in the bathroom with a pair of scissors. With my fist I grab my hair. Pulling the pair of scissors to my hair. Squinting my eyes I closed my fingers on the scissors. Slice. I saw the hair in my hand. My chestnut hair. I pulled my brothers (no longer needed) glasses to sit on the bridge of my nose. Now all I need is a name...
