At home, my Dad and younger brother, Mark, were in the sitting room watching some kids show on the television. Mark was four he didn't really have high standards for what he watches. I walked past them, putting my bag on the counter in the kitchen and taking out my box the previously held my lunch. I rinsed the plastic box out and placed it upside down for it to drain, I did the same with the lid leaning it against the box after.
I walked back into the sitting room where Mark was sat with our Dad, smiling at the kids show.
"Hey, Mark. What ya watching?" I said in the most interested voice I could, sitting next to him on the couch.
"Paw Patrol." I looked to the screen to see a bunch of dogs in clothes. I never liked Paw Patrol, I liked Wonder Pets when I was a kid. I even remember the theme tune, Wonder Pets, Wonder Pets, we're on our way! To help the baby whatever-they-were-saving-that-episode and save the day! We're not to big and we're not too small but if we work together, we'll get the job done. Go Wonder Pets! Anyway, in my opinion, kids shows have gone down hill.
"Cool!" I said, trying to sound interested again.
"How was school, Lily?" My Dad kept his eyes on the T.V. He looked way too interested in 'Paw Patrol'.
"It was good. Classes are ok since I knew most of the stuff already and I made some friends."
"Boys or girls?" He was still watching the T.V.
"Boys, two of them. Tyler and Seth." Dad took his eyes off the T.V. and looked at his phone.
"I wish I could stay, but I have that job interview." He stood up, ruffling Mark's hair and kissing me on the forehead. "Be back soon. Try not to burn the house down."
"No promises." I smiled. My Dad laughed then walked out of the house.

Three hours of kids T.V. and Mark talking to the character's like they could hear him later, I decided I'd get a head start on any homework we got today.
I went up to my undecorated room with only a bed against one wall and a pile of boxes against the opposite one. I grabbed a few boxes, piling them to make a desk type thing and got another box for a seat. That'll do.
I went down stairs to grab the homework from my bag. Mark met me at the bottom of the stairs.
"Lily?" He said, a toy car in his hand.
"Yeah, Mark?"
"Can we have pizza?"
"Sure, Mark. I'll order some in." I grabbed the homework from my bag and my phone, dialling the number for the pizza place down the street.
"Hi, could I have a cheese pizza please?...Medium...72 Magpie Lane...Thank you." I put the phone down and turned to Mark, "Ten minutes."
"Yay! Pizza!" Mark ran back to the sitting room to watch his show and play with his toy car.
I took a look at the homework in my hand. Two pieces. One History, the other Maths. I figured I'd do the Maths first since I didn't need anything else for it.
I ran back upstairs to my box desk and box chair and grabbed a pen from another box still piled up. There was around nine boxes, four made my desk, one made my chair and the other four sat in the corner of the room. Two of the nine had clothes, two more had books and DVDs, one had my computer and other electronics, pretty sure one had my desk in it but I was too lazy to put it up, another had miscellaneous objects: Mark's toys, shoes, pens and pencils, etc., the last two had bed covers, videogames and pictures.
Finishing the Maths homework, I heard a knock on the door and Mark shout, "Pizza!"
I ran down, grabbed some money from Dad's wallet to pay for the pizza and opened the door.
"Twelve Dollars please, Miss." I handed him the money and took the pizza box, tying to ignore Mark jumping around shouting, "Pizza! Pizza!"
The pizza guy walked back to his car and I closed the door. I took the pizza to the kitchen and grabbed two plastic plates. Good thing we unpacked these, I can't be bothered digging through moving boxes.
I put some pizza on Mark's plate and a little more on my plate, leaving some in the box for Dad, or if I fancied some cold pizza later on.

I sat with Mark as we ate and he told me about the game he was playing with his cars. One was full of robbers and the police car had to catch them. But they never did because the robbers were too smart. So, the police cars set a trap and the robbers got caught in it.
"--but they escape again and move to a different country and the police in that county have to try and catch them." Mark finished, his mouth full of pizza.
"...Cool." I ate some more of my pizza then took our plates and washed them in the kitchen sink.
After, I set them to dry and took my plastic lunch box and looked through the cupboards to find something for my lunch tomorrow.
I settled for a tuna and sweetcorn sandwich, an apple and a few Oreos. I filled a bottle with water and put it all in the fridge for tomorrow.

Dad got back a few hours after that. He got the job! When I asked him why he was out so long he said it was because they started him working right after the interview to see how he would do in the actual job.
When he got home, he took Mark to bed and when to sleep himself. I stayed up a little longer. Ate some cold pizza, watched some T.V. and eventually fell asleep on the couch.
A/N
This part is shorter than the others because I really want to get to part four because stuff happens then and I really want to write that. Who knows, might write it straight after this one and post it today. Probably not since this is the second part I posted today and it's 5:50pm over here and I'm hungry and I'm gonna get pizza. I'm basically Mark right now.
Also, I really wanted to call Mark Percy so he'd be Percy Jackson but I decided against it because I like the name Mark more. Sorry if your name's Percy.
C'ya! xx
