"I'm Trans."

Tyler spent the whole day zoning out and staring at the ground. I guess he was caught off guard when the police said their 'suspect in custody' was Margret Lacy.

She didn't seem like she could kill anyone but she scared me.

School finished and I followed Seth out of school. We waited for Tyler, who ran past us through the gates.

"Ty! Where you going?" Seth shouted after him.

"Tell you later!" He shouted, running down the street.

"I will never understand that guy." Seth said as we started walking.

He said I could go to his house since he ended up staying the whole night at mine. Plus we had some homework and he said we could do it together.

We walked up the street I would usually take but took a different turn and we were there. It's weird how close we lived to each other. If we hadn't have met, be it though Tyler or not, when I first got here, we'd probably have ended up accidentally walking to school together and he's such a nice guy that he'd end up saying something and we'd start talking and end up becoming friends.

Seth sighed and held his hands out in front of him towards the house we'd stopped in front of, as if presenting art in a museum.

"Casa de Seth...I think...I don't speak Spanish and I could be totally wrong." He smiled. I laughed and we started walking up to his house.

Seth started mumbling under his breath. I couldn't hear what he said but I could make out two names he was repeating. Linda and Carl. Wonder who they are.

We walked in and I instantly remembered how it looked from when I was here yesterday. The couches were all fancy, black leather and there was a glass coffee table. The wall was covered in fancy picture frames holding images of Seth's family. He told me he had no siblings but in some of the photos there was a little girl. The pictures of Seth seemed to only be of him in his teens. I ignored that though as I walked into the kitchen.

Marble counter tops and a wooden table in the centre and the room with six fancy wooden chairs, only on was empty. The others had people sat in them. The two people sitting next to each other that I could see were Seth's Mum and Dad. On one end of the table was Seth's Auntie Faye, with a stern look on her face. Like they were in the middle of an important convocation. Then, two people sat opposite Seth's parents, I could see there faces. All I could see is the man had black hair and was wearing a collared shirt, the woman had blonde hair and wore a black dress.

"Seth, sweetheart," His mother spoke, pure joy in her voice from seeing her son, "We were just about to cook something to eat and Linda and Carl were just leaving." She turned back to the man and woman in front of her, her face becoming stern again.

The woman, Linda spoke up, "Really? Why weren't we aware we where leaving? Did you know we were leaving Carl?" She sounded like sarcasm was her default tone.

"No," The man, Carl, spoke. His voice deep and rough. "Hello, Sophie." He said turning to Seth. Why'd he call Seth Sophie?

"Out." Seth said, his voice as stern as his mother's face.

"How rude, you'd do well to teach your daughter some manners, sister." Linda said, standing from her seat. Carl followed, "Oh, hello dear. I'm not sure we've met. I'm Linda, Sophie's Aunt." She held out her hand for a handshake but Seth hit her hand away, even though she wanted to shake my hand not his.

"Far from it." He said, a tone of anger in his voice.

"Um, sorry to sound rude but, who's Sophie?" Linda's face went to shock and then a grin.
