Sylvie's P.O.V.
When I woke up the next morning I was surprised to find that Jason wasn't beside me. In panic I looked around and that's when I noticed a note on the bedside table.
'My darling Sylvie,
You looked so peaceful that I didn't want to wake you. I have a couple of things planned for today, the first of which requires you to be dressed and ready to go out. I want you to have clothes of your own whilst you're here so I will be taking you shopping. Ready when you are.
Jason. X'
On the chair in the corner he had placed some of his smallest clothes which included a tshirt and three quarter jeans. I quickly took off my pyjamas and put them on. The top was a little big and ended up looking more like a dress on me but the three quarters ended up reaching my angles and needed a belt. Wearing his clothes the difference in size between us we definitely clear.
After brushing my hands through my hair a little I decided I was ready.
Jason was already downstairs waiting for me. He wore black ripped jeans and a bleach splattered shirt which gave him a bad boy vibe. In my opinion it looked very good on him. For a moment I was in shock that I was lucky enough to have the guy before me as my mate. He smiled over at me as I approached, turning his attention away from the TV. I saw his eyes glance over what I was wearing and I saw a slight change in his expression that I couldn't quite read.
"Is there something wrong with it?" I quickly asked, looking down at my outfit.
"No no no, there's nothing wrong with it"
"Then why did your expression change?"
"Have you ever heard of a man finding it cute or attractive when his girlfriend wears his clothes?"
"I've read about it in books, but I didn't think it was something that really happened" I admitted.
"It's definitely a real thing" his eyes traced over me again and now that I knew what it meant, it was clear to see. "Let's get you some of your own clothes, or else it might be tricky for me to keep my word" he laughed at the last bit but I could tell that he was being serious.
Luckily I was the same size shoe as his mother so I just borrowed a pair of hers.
We walked outside, after locking the door he headed towards one of the two cars they had outside.
"You drive?" I asked carefully,
"Yes, I'm a safe driver don't worry, have you been in a car before?"
I looked down a little. There was so much he was used to doing, that I'd never had the chance to experience before. "Honestly, no I haven't. My dad owned a car but he only used it to go get supplies and we were never allowed to go with him."
"Oh right, I'm sorry Sylvie"
"Don't be, at least I get to experience new things with you." I smiled up at him, only to find that he was already smiling at my words.
"I'm happy to help"
With that, we got into the car. True to his word, he drove carefully and we soon reached the shopping centre.
Outside it looked uninspiring but once we were inside my jaw fell. It was beautifully decorated with a glass roof, marble floors and incredible shop fronts.
Jason looked over at me and couldn't help but laugh at my expression.
"So what do you think?"
"It looks amazing! There's so many people here too, where do we even start?"
"Well what style of clothes did you normally have?"
"Whatever my parents could get hold of" I answered honestly before even thinking about it.
"Come with me" he took hold of my hand as he began to lead me through the crowds. I knew it was so that I wouldn't get lost but it made me happy to be able to hold his hand in public. It showed that he wasn't ashamed of being with me.
We went past a few shops when we finally reached a pretty large one.
"I know someone here who should be able to help us" he told me as we walked inside.
"Jason!!!" I heard a girlish squeal as we got further into the shop. A blur of brown highlighted hair ran past and hugged Jason before either of us could react.
"Hello Christy," he turned to me as the girl released him. "Sylvie this is Christy, my cousin."
Christy gave him a strange look as we were introduced.
"Hello Sylvie," she shook my hand. "I'm sorry I'm not used to being introduced to girls by my cousin" she laughed as she spoke but I didn't understand what she meant.
"I can't tell you much more just yet, as she will be introduced to the pack as a whole by my parents but something happened to her family that means she will be staying with me for quite some time. She turned up in her pyjamas so"
"So she needs some clothes?" Christy finished for him.
"Yes but she doesn't know what style she likes so I was wondering if you could help."
She took my hands and led me over to a table in the corner. There were mountains of fashion magazines from every style or brand going.
"Have a look through these and mark off any you like with a book mark. Then we'll see what we can find for you."
"Thank you" I smiled genuinely up at her and she seemed a little surprised but smiled back.
"I'm just going to talk to my cousin about something so I'll be over there if you need me" she walked back over to Jason as I began flicking through the magazines.
