OLIVIA.
'So what do you think?' I show him the dress I bought yesterday. I actually was going into Amsterdam for something for my camera. But I saw this cute dress and I had to fit it. I did bought what I wanted for my camera too though. 'Looks good.' His eyes move over my body. What makes me a little insecure and uncomfortable. 'Normally I don't really wear dresses, but I love this one.' I sit down, opposite of Daniel. 'Why don't you?' 'Have you ever wore a dress or skirt?' I ask him, even though I know he hasn't wore it before. But who knows, it's Daniel. He shakes his head. 'You need to sit with crossed legs, I hate sitting like that. Jeans are just nicer.' He nods smiling. I'm not at all girly, I'm more a tom boy. You won't find any pink clothing in my closet.'This is easy,' Daniel says, holding a test in his hands which was laying on the table. He hasn't seen most of the boys handwriting. 'You wanna do it?' He shrugs. I hand him a red pen. 'Go ahead.' I tell him how I do it with the points and then I let him do it. 'Are you a chill teacher?' He asks, crossing through a word that's wrong. 'I think so. I hope so, I don't wanna be a strict teacher. I am when I need to be but I hope they like me.' I really do hope. Some teachers just suck, being really strict and you can't do anything. I don't like all my colleagues, whoops. But everybody has that right? 'What things do you need to learn them, I think it's a different English than in Australia.' I think it is too. I've never really been to school in Australia. I've seen schools from the inside, but never saw them teach. 'It's just speaking, grammar and listening really. So on Tuesday I only understand English, most of the time I switch between accents to make it a little more fun. Wednesday and Thursday are the boring days then it's grammar and assignments out of the book. And then Friday it's movie day. I call it movie day but I watch with every class a series.' On Monday's I don't work. Sometimes I babysit one of my best friends baby. 'The same series with every class?' Hell no! That would be boring. 'No, I did saw all the series, it needs to be a little child friendly. They all take food with them, so I always steal some from them. Free food is always good. And I ask some questions in between or at the end when we have time.' He smiles. 'Sounds good, the Friday.' I nod. 'It still sounds easy though, I'm mean you're not doing that much.' I chuckle shaking my head. Like his job is so hard. He earns his money by racing that isn't hard. It may be exhausting but mine is too. You have days where the kids can be really crowded and annoying. 'You wanna teach a Monday?' I don't seem why not. The school would probably enjoy it, so would the kids. 'Okay,' he challenges. 'Okay. That's set.' I look at him smiling. 'Yeah.' He looks down at the test. 'I'm finished,' he says proud handing me the paper. 'With one.' I take more tests out in my bag and place it in front of him. He looks at me before looking at the small pile. 'You wanted to do it.' I shrug. Leaving the table to the kitchen. I smile at him from the kitchen. He shakes his head, but continues. This is relaxed.
'So what are your plans for next weekend?' I ask leaning against desk in my guest room. Daniel is packing his bag I'm bringing him back to Amsterdam where he's staying. Because he has the racing days in Zandvoort, where he's going to in a helicopter. 'Racing in Monaco.' I've never been to Monaco. Tommy says it's nice. 'How is Monaco like?' I cross my arms. 'Nice weather.' It makes me laugh. 'I prefer summer too, god I hate winter sport,' I say thinking back about going on winter sport with my work. I'm never doing that again. I got stuck in a snow storm on top of the mountain. First and last time I'm doing that. 'But this weekend was alright. Right?' He shrugs closing his bag. 'I guess it was.' He smiles. He's messing with me, luckily. 'Alright, see how you get to Amsterdam.' I leave to the living room. But quickly after turning around I feel his hands on my hips. He pulls me closer as he turns me around. 'Oh Olivia,' Daniel sings along with the music, what is playing on the background. Cecilia is the original. I giggle. His hands are still on my hips. I drown in his beautiful dark brown eyes. I really don't wanna ruin the moment, but my foot is itching. Like really bad. 'I need to scratch,' I say to Daniel and reach for my foot. Daniel sets a step back. 'What time are we leaving?' I look at the clock. '15 minutes?' He nods. I so ruined the moment.
'I enjoyed it,' I say as we're still sitting in the car. He looks at me. 'Me too. We should do it more often.' I smile. 'We should.' Should I do it? We should've done it in my apartment. I lean in, but stop close to him and look him in his brown eyes. I place my hand on his cheek before placing my lips on his and close my eyes.
We should do that more often too. I bite my under lip before I start to smile. Then I step out of the car. I wanna give him a hug. I'm parked in a parking lot. I walk around the car to Daniel and hug him. 'Have fun in Zandvoort.' He smiles. 'I will.' I let him go. 'Sent me some pictures.' He nods.
