OLIVIA.
For a second I look up from my phone, watching my little brother talk to some unknown people. We're at the RedBull garage. My phone vibrates in my hand, so I look back at it. I'm texting my other brother. 'You don't seem to have much fun,' an Australian accent says behind me. I love Aussie people, their accent is my favorite accent. I turn around, to face the male who spoke to me. His dark curly hair, messy on top of his head. I push my glasses closer to my head. 'You're right, I don't. But my brother wanted to go here and he needed an adult to go with, so here I am,' I put up my Australian accent. I'm pretty good at it, if I say so myself. I picked it up when I lived there for a year. I'm not fully speaking the truth, but that's alright. I am enjoying myself a little. He chuckles. And checks me out, very obvious. So I do the same. He's wearing one of those RedBull shirts. I hope for the people that those shirts are comfy, because they have to walk in it all day. Some blue jeans underneath, colorful sockets and grey sneakers. He has a little tan. I like the socks. I like showing my socks too, I don't own many short socks. He looks a me, thinking. 'You look very farmiliar.' Lets play around with him. I love to do stuff like that. 'That's possible, I've acted in some movies. Not really big ones,' I make up out of nothing. How did I even think of that? 'Really?' He looks questioning. I nod, trying to be convincing. Hopefully he doesn't notice. 'Which movies?' Now looking interested in what I do. 'Well ya know... Those ones,' I say a little awkward. His white teeth appear, when he smiles. I can not, not smile with that smile. 'Those are good movies,' he plays along. 'I know, right?' Then all of a sudden I feel a arm around my neck. My hair crushed between my neck and the persons arm. 'Is my little sister bothering you?' He asks the man I'm talking to. With fake hurt feelings I look at my brother. 'Defiantly brother and sister.' He nods his head. He finally figured out why I look familiar. 'Twins actually,' I correct the man, 'and I'm not bothering anyone, he came up to me.' I take my curly hair from underneath my brother his arm. 'Why do you have that accent?' He asks with his clearly Dutch accent. He's playing too. My brother can speak fluently English without an accent. 'You're ruining everything, just play along.' When I turn my head back to the man, he's smiling. 'You should look up my movies. They're really good, if I say so myself.' He nods, 'I will.' Tom looks confused. He shakes his head. 'Don't listen to her, she's a little weird.' I rest my hand on my heart and open my mouth. 'That really hurts Thomas," I say pronouncing his whole name. He doesn't like that, he prefers the short way. 'I'm going to Leo, you two are weird.' He shakes his head walking away. 'I feel very attacked right now,' I call after him. The man laughs out loud. 'You're funny,' he says. I smile. I take the compliment. 'Thank you. I'm Olivia by the way.' I reach my hand out. He takes it and shakes it softly, but with a strong hand. 'Daniel. So you aren't from Australia?' I shake my head. 'Na, I've been to Australia though, I loved it.' I would love to go back again, but it's pretty expensive. I feel like we have a connection. And I only know him for 5 minutes. 'So what are you doing here? Are you one of the mechanics like my brother?' He smiles. Why is he smiling? I don't think it was that funny. Or did I said something wrong? I probably said something wrong. 'I'm one of the drives actually, so something like that yeah.' Now I remember him, Tom has talked about him. Now I feel bad. I just didn't recognized him. Actually I only know Max, because his Dutch like me. And I don't really watch formula 1, sometimes I do. But a race can be long as hell. Even though I enjoy them when watch. Plus most of the time you only hear their names and don't see their faces, so it's acceptable. 'Sorry.' He chuckles. 'Very disappointed. Everybody knows the good looking guy from Australia, I can't talk to you again.' He walks away and quickly comes back. I giggle. I really like him. He has my humor. 'What do you do, other than playing in those awesome movies of course.' 'Yeah well I don't play in any movies. But I am a English teacher.' He nods. 'Nice.' I shake my head. 'Those kids are the worst.' I joke. He's laughs again, what makes me smile. I like his laugh. It's very catchy. 'We need to go.' I jump from my little brother touching my arm. 'Oh okay.' I don't wanna leave, I liked our conversation and I don't want it to end yet. Hopefully I'll see him again. He's a nice person to be around with. 'It was nice meeting you,' I say to Daniel, slowly walking backwards. 'Same, maybe I'll see ya.' I nod turning around. I catch up with the group. 'You two laughed allot,' Leo speaks in our native language as he gives me a soft push with his elbow. My little brother is allot taller than I am, like allot. 'You know I have a good connection with men.' It's true. I have more male friends than female. It may sound bad, but i prefer male friends over female. With woman you easily start bitching, and I know I can be a bitch too. I just sometimes act like a man. I grew up between the man. I do have my girly moments of course, I'm still a woman. And I definitely stand for woman, I'm proud of what we've accomplished over the years. No hate to woman, we're amazing creatures.>>>
