A month passed and before Sarah could start taping with her movie with Sam, she asked for a vacation. She was given 4 days to do whatever she wants.
Sarah decided to go at their private island in Taytay, Palawan. She asked her parents, some of her friends and Gerald to come with her. Shin and Yeng were the only ones available, even her parents were busy.
It was Yeng, Shin, Anna, Gerald and her yaya who would be coming with her. They were all excited, especially Shin and Yeng to meet Sarah’s mystery man.
Gerald was glad, no I mean delighted, happy and overjoyed that he would be spending days with the one he loves and he will be able to see her at last. He kept removing his naughty thoughts about Sarah that started the moment when she asked him to come, but it wasn’t working. “Ok Gerald, control yourself. Iba to, iba siya. Papa God, please help me!” He was talking to himself while packing his bag.
Before leaving, he called his boss to apologize for insisting to have his vacation. Lately, he has been having a hard time balancing Sarah, his family and work. He hasn’t been seeing any of his friends except from Fred. At work, when Sarah is available he talks to her or texts her nonstop. When he gets home, he’s either tired or busy trying to reach Sarah. He was constantly adjusting his own time to match hers. He wanted to strengthen whatever they have, so he does whatever it is to make them closer. Though they don’t meet often, he believes that communication is a key to their relationship.
They all decided to meet at Sarah’s house before going to the airport. Shin and Yeng were already there along with Anna.
Shin was really looking forward to this get away, she was exhausted this past few months and she badly needed this vacation. “Excited na ko!” She exclaimed.
Yeng was all smiles “Ako din. Pati dun sa mystery man ni Sa gusto ko na makilala!” she said. Sarah was open to them, they knew what her relationship with Gerald was but wasn’t able to meet him yet.
Sarah’s parents arrived at the living room where the three were. “Mag-iingat kayo dun ha. Wag iinom masyado.” Mommy D said. They all chuckled, knowing that there isn’t anyone who would stop them from drinking their hearts out.
The door bell rang. After a few seconds, a man walked in their living room carrying a bag pack and looked extremely shy. He approached Sarah’s parents and offered his hand to Daddy Delfin. “Good morning po” he greeted and smiled at Mommy Divine. After the handshakes, Daddy Delfin didn’t let go of his hand, he was gripping it, tightly. “Mag iingat kayo dun iho. Pinagkakatiwalaan ka namin, wag mo sanang balewalain yun” Daddy Delfin said trying to threaten him.
Mommy Divine laughed and tapped her husband’s shoulder “Ikaw naman, wala namang gagawin ang mga bata. Hindi ba?” she said mockingly.
Yeng and Shin were silently laughing; they were busy studying the man who just entered. They were elbowing each other, and kept giggling.
