As I stared out the window
Of the car,
We drove over a bridge
I wanted to jump.
I felt this pain,
This terrible pain
It felt like getting stabbed with
A needle
It felt like my heart shattered
It felt like I lost something
Something so important
And then suddenly I was numb
My whole body went weak
A craving took over me
I felt this overwhelming feeling
To jump.
I wanted to fall
Into the dark water below
Because nothing else mattered
Half my heart was missing
You said you were done.
So nothing else mattered.
