You remind me of a burning fire
It starts out slow
A small little spark
And then gradually
As you add more gasoline
It begins to grow
As you feed it
It begins to spread
Hurting everyone in its path
Reminding me
Of those beautiful buildings you
Tore down
With your red seething anger
With your fiery hot breath
Blowing upon us
Scorching us
Burning our flesh
Eating us alive
Charring my soul;
Hot coal stove
Where brown eyes should be
Instead the red breath
With angry eyes
And scorching flames
Pressed into its back
Sinking further into your heart
You feel nothing but pain
But why must you take it out
On us?
