I sat next to you, so quiet
You looked at me as the wind blew by
A frown on your face
And I wondered what it would take for you
To look at me the way you used to
For you to love me
Once again
And I knew that somewhere,
A deep part of you
Still cared
Because why would you still look at me
With that light in your eyes,
That small hidden smile
On your face
Why would you kiss me
And decide to push me away
Only to come back and kiss me again.
You love me
I'm sure of it.
But what will it take for you
To look at me the way you used to
