Sam walked upstairs, and into their room. He leaned against the doorway.

"Jess."

"What." She choked out.

"Baby....I'm trying to help you be healthy."

"Hold me."

He walked over and spooned her, burying his face into his neck.

"I love you."

He rubbed his hands over her chest.

"You're the best mom and wife anyone could ever have."

She sighed.

"I feel like I've failed our baby."

"God wanted him/her."

"But I want them with me!" She sobbed.

"I know you did baby." He kissed her shoulder and sighed.

"It's all going to be okay angel."

"It doesn't feel that way for me!"

Jessica eventually fell asleep and Sam held her for a bit before going downstairs to clean up.

At 3:30 Abby came running through the door smiling and laughing.

"Hey Sweetheart how was school?" He said, hugging her and grabbing her book-bag.

"Good, I have a boyfriend."

"Ha, no you don't either." He pinched her nose, smiling.

She pouted out her bottom lip and shook her head.

"Yes huh."

"Alright, go play."

Sam huffed and walked away.
