Hummingbird
Quick, determined
She flits frantically, always moving, always changing
But she is small,
And fragile
Unaware of her delicacy
Does not know her limits
Does not know who to turn to
She breaks herself,
And we are afraid
We do nothing
As she shatters

Did this poem come off as sexist? That wasn't my goal, I swear. I just tried to write about the dilemma a hurt person faces. *old man voice* Damn you society, and your lack of emotional support!
