"What you mean you don't like watermelon?!" Dre asks outraged.
I just shrug. "I never really have."
"Do you at least like fried chicken?" Jamal asks.
"Nigga what do I look like to you? Of course I like fried chicken!" I reply.
"It's her favourite food ." Caleb adds while shaking his head .
"What ?? A girl can't like fried chicken no more ?" I ask .
"Y'all want some pizza rolls ??" Royalty shouts from the kitchen.
"Ooo!" We all run to the kitchen like some little kids.
"Take as many as y'all want . But don't be leaving no damn crumbs on the floor . I'm not supposed to have people over here when my brother ain't home ."
"How old is yo brother ?" I ask .
"15 ." She replies and I nod .
Just as we all start to eat our pizza rolls, suddenly the front door opens and a few seconds later closes . We all look at each other as we can hear about 3 different voices getting closer to where we are .
"Wassam y'all." I look up and see Kendell standing by the door, smirking with 2 girls standing behind him .
"Kendell, why are you here ?" Royalty asks .
"Now that's no way to welcome family is it RoRo ?" He says . She rolls her eyes .
"Y'all are related and you didn't think it necessary to tell me ?" I rub my temples .
"I didn't even know his annoying ass was gone be here today ." She says . "We're cousins ."
"Oh . . ." I roll my eyes then gasp . "Wait so that means NBA Youngboy is yo cousin too ?!" I get slightly too excited .
"Yep..."
"Girl, how you ain't tell me such important information ? "
"My bad ." She shrugs, eating her pizza roll.
"Royalty why is there no food in this damn fridge ?" Kendell asks .
"Maybe cuz yo fat ass ate it all ." She replies .
"Whatever ." He shuts the fridge then comes and stands by me . "Wasgood ma ."
"Do not call me ma ." I glare at him .
"Aight my bad ." He puts his hands up in defeat . "I ain't tryna get on yo bad side . I already seen how you can fuck a bitch up ."
"What you talkin' bout Ken ?" Royalty asks .
"She ain't tell you ? She done beat up my girl for no damn reason ."
