As soon as the bell rings, Caleb and I pack up our shit and run out the class .
Fuck that 'the bell doesn't dismiss you' bullshit . 💀
We rush to the cafeteria to get the good food before it's gone because after the first 10 minutes of lunch, the food tends to be either soggy, dry, hard or bland .
Once we've got our food we make our way over to the empty table .
"So, how was your little play date last night ?" Caleb smirks .
"It was alright . I met Nba Youngboy ." I cheese .
"You a fan ?" He asks .
"Only because of my cousin ." I gasp . "I should introduce her . . ."
"Does Nba Youngboy even remember you though ?"
"Nigga please, he knew me before I even got there ." I flip my hair playfully .
"How ?"
"Apparently Kendell hasn't stopped talking about me since I got here ."
"Damn, maybe he actually likes you ."
"He doesn't know me ."
"Well I'm sure he likes you . Have you seen the way he looks at you ? Every time you walk in the room his eyes light up . I noticed it at practise . You walked in, he turned to look at you, and all of a sudden it was like he couldn't even hear me anymore, he was too busy staring at you ."
As I try to take all of that in, I look up and see the rest of the squad approaching the table .
"Wassam biiiitch !" Royalty says, sitting down beside me .
"Nun much ." I reply .
"What y'all talking about ?" She asks .
"How Kendell obviously likes her . . ." Caleb answers for me .
"Omg yesss . Nigga talks about you non-stop...Kentrell told me ."
"Well I'm going to his house again today to tutor him so if y'all want I can ask him if he likes me ?"
