I'm currently walking through the halls trying to find my first class for today, chemistry .
As I'm walking, there are still people staring at me and whispering to their friends who then also turn to look at me . I really don't get what all the fuss is about . I'm just a person .
I finally find the class I've been looking for but by the time I do, I'm 5 minutes late . I walk into the room and the whole class turns their heads to look at me .
"You're late ." The teacher says bluntly .
"I'm new ." I reply in the exact same tone .
"Ah right, you must be Jasmine . Take a seat at the back ." He speaks in such a slow, boring voice .
I can already tell this is gonna be one long ass class .🙄
I head over to the back and see one empty seat in between some dude with dreads and some girl with nice braces . After what feels like a few hours of him talking at us, he finally lets us do some work . We have to work in groups of 3 so he puts me with the dread headed nigga and the girl with the braces .
"Hey, I'm Ronnie ." She smiles .
"Wassup, I'm Jasmine ." I reply .
"I'm Nick ." The dude says .
"Did either of y'all actually listen to a thing that nigga just said ?" Ronnie asks .
"Nope ." Me and Nick reply in unison before we all burst out laughing .
"I think he said you put the tube of blue stuff in the rack then add that salty stuff to it ." I say .
"Ard, but if this shit blows up, it's on you ." Nick laughs .
After we've done the experiment and we realise ours looks nothing like anybody else's, we realise we did the whole thing wrong .
"I blame you ." Nick says .
"Me too ." Ronnie agrees .
"Shit, I blame me too ." I say and we all laugh .
We spend the rest of the class fucking around and throwing dangerous chemicals at each other .💀

After class, Nick offers to walk me to my second period because we're in the same class and I still don't know how to get anywhere in this big ass school . As we're walking to our spanish class, a certain familiar voice calls my name, catching my attention . I turn around and see Kendell standing with one of the girls from yesterday .
"Yes ?" I reply .
"I needa talk to you real quick ." He says .
I sigh then turn back to Nick . "I'm sorry, I'll see you in spanish ok ?"
"Aight shawty, ima catch you later ." He says before walking off .
