I walk back towards the cafeteria in hope of finding Ella but instead I see Caleb and Dre standing by the door so I go over to them .

"Aye, what's wrong ?" Caleb asks .

"I am tired of fake ass people mane...I thought me and Royalty was friends but then I caught her talking about me behind my back with her annoying ass cousin ."

"Forreal ? That don't sound like Ro ." He says .

"Right . Just yesterday she was saying how much she liked you and wanted you to be part of the squad ." Dre adds .

"Hmm . . ." I say and start to think about what Royalty said .

Maybe she was just defending me...

"Anyways, you still coming to practise after school ?" Caleb asks .

"Yeah, I'll be there ." I smile .

The bell rings and we go our separate ways .

After School🏀

I'm sitting in the bleachers in the gym listening to music while the boys practise .

Me and Royalty made up just after last period because I explained that I was just upset and not used to having people stick up for me . Right now she's outside on the phone to her brother and I'm listening to my playlist while scrolling through Instagram .

About halfway through practise I look up from my phone and see Kendell with the ball . He manages to out-skill every single player on the other team then shoot a 3 pointer in the space of 7 seconds...

I have to say, I'm impressed and as much as I dislike his irritating ass, he is great at basketball .

Once practise is over, the boys come over to me and Royalty and we all get ready to leave . Just as we're leaving, through the corner of my eye I see the coach talking to Kendell and he does not look happy . It looks like the coach is telling Kendell he did something wrong and Kendell looks...kinda upset . I really didn't picture someone like him to even have feelings . . .

After a while he sighs then grabs his bag and leaves the gym .

"Helloo ? Jas ?" Royalty waves her hand in front of my face .

"Huh ?"

"Ohh okay girl I see you . Playing hard to get but you lowkey feeling him huh ." She smirks .

"Feeling Who ? Kendell ? Girl please ." I reply .

"Okay boo, whatever you say ."  She says obviously not believing me .

We all leave the gym and pass through Dairy Queen for food and smoothies before heading home .

When I get home I see my family sat in the living room watching a movie .

"Hey everybody ." I say .

"Hey ." They all reply .
