Chapter 5: Why
Lucius's POV
8pm couldn't come any faster. My eyes kept darting towards my watch, which was still happily stuck on 7:45pm. Letting out a soft sigh, I sat down on a green plush couch.
Soon, I was making my way towards the Ravenclaw commons, the sound of my solitary footsteps my only companion. It didn't take too long for my long strides to reach my destination. The tiniest frown marred my forehead as I realized Mira hadn't come out yet. Sighing, I leaned against the wall, waiting for her.
Mira's POV
I don't know why I was so nervous to go on patrol. I guessed it was because I usually patrol alone. I had managed to pull my usually unruly curly hair back into a ponytail and headed out into the corridor.
I saw Lucius leaning against the wall and smiled a bit. "Hi Lucius!" I said
Immediately, he pushed himself off the wall and walked upto me, a ghost of a smile gracing his lips. "You definitely took your time, but seeing how you look right now, I won't complain." he smirked. "So, ready to go?"
I felt myself blush slightly and nodded. "Yep! You?"
He chuckled at my eagerness and nodded. "Born ready," he smirked, walking closer and offering me his handI took his hand and we went off on perfect patrol. And I have to say, he's not that bad. I had fun. A lot of fun.
