How long has it been? 2? 5 years? I don't know anymore... I don't feel like going back anyways...

I've been living with father... I mean Pitch for quite a while now. He taught me how to control my powers and . how to fly Well, sometimes the training doesn't go well. I usually end up hurting him. But everytime I do, he tries to hide the pain and just laugh.

"Hey, Pitch!"

"What is it?" he asked.

"Can I go out?"

"Huh? What for?"

"Well... I miss outside. Besides, there's a friend who's probably worried about me."

"Fine then. Do you want to bring some nightmares with you?" Pitch asked.

"Nah. I can handle it. I'm the most dangerous creature here. Hahaha." I soar up the hole and looked back at Pitch to bid him goodbye. I noticed he suddenly frowned.

"D-do you wanna come with me?" I asked.

"I doubt that is a good idea. I don't like the light." he replied.

"Well, I don't like the darkness... but I found happiness in it. I found you, father." I said with a smile.

He stared at me for a while... shocked probably. But he smiled afterwards. I reached out my hand to him and he grabbed on it. We went out of the cave and soared up high. It was fun to have our sand supports us in mid-air. I lead Pitch to my home, the orphanage.

We landed on my window. I quickly sensed a familiar presence. Pitch looked back at me and said, "It's your decision. I'll wait at the roof."

I took a deep breath and went inside. As expected, Jack was there discussing something with Gil. He looked behind and saw me. We both got frozen by each other's sight.

"You're wrong, Jack. There she is." Gil said pointing at me.

"O-oh... Alice..." Jack mumbled. Gil ran towards me and hugged me tightly.

"I missed you sooo much! Jack said you're gone but I know I shouldn't believe that!"

Jack stood up and started walking towards me. I don't know how to act. I don't know what to say. Before I knew, Jack's arms were already around me. His tears dropped down my shoulders.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." he cried.

"You should be .... you piece of shit." I mumbled as I hug him back.

The scene was so sad. I really want to punch his face so hard. But I came here for Gil... not for Jack. I put down my arms and looked away.

"Gil... I need to talk to you for a sec." I said. He followed me obediently out of the room leaving Jack staring blankly at the floor. Outside, I knelt down before Gil.

"Alice... don't tell me..."

"Yes. Just like what Jack said. I will be away for a while. Or maybe forever."

"Why?! Why do you people keep on living me?"

"Gil, I'm not leaving you. I am protecting you."

"From what?"

"You see... I'm different-"

"Me too. Is different bad...?"

"You are the different that is good. I am not."

"How can say that? You're not bad. You're powerful that's why people fear you and see you as bad. Everyone says you are bad because you are strong."
