Five Months Later.
X-1 slowly peered around the corner, his hood shielded his face like a shadow as he slowly maneuvered through the corridors of none other than a Rebel ship.
Lothal had a lot of Rebel activity, and X-1 had been sent on his first mission to do reconnaissance and gather information. Perhaps this was overstepping his assignment, but he was here to collect information and boarding a freighter he was beyond sure was a Rebel ship seemed like something he should do in order to gather as much intel as possible for his master and Sidious.
X-1 had found he could act in a very convincing manner, Sidious had no idea that X-1's free will slowly being restored. But with it X-1 became more and more devoted to Darth Vader while also reverting to an attitude of overdoing and over thinking everything as time passed and free will returned.
X-1 snapped out of his thoughts as voices echoed through the halls, rebels calling out to eachother, the freighter lifting into the sky and leaving the landing grounds.
X-1 frowned and quickly backed away into the cargo bay, hiding behind a large stack of crates as the ship left Lothal's atmosphere.
The ship soon jumped to hyperspace as the Rebels began to relax, something that went in favor of the Imperial assassin as X-1 took his lightsaber, hiding the weapon in the folds of his black outer robe.
He left the cargo bay quietly, creeping down the halls, his boots making but a whisper of sound compared to the noises made by rebels echoing down the halls.
X-1's mind raced quickly as he played through his strategy. He had to get to a computer, in his possession was a drive that he could download information on, then he'd have to sabotage the hyperdrive and take an escape pod, from there X-1 knew Vader would send an escort and he'd go back to Sidious with a bountiful amount of intel for the Empire.
But easier said than done.
X-1 didn't get far before he realized just how hard it would be to avoid detection. The deeper he ventured into the ship, the more rebels he found. All were suitably armed with hand held blasters.
Luke bit his lip as he ducked around the corner, two rebels coming down the hall.
"Did you hear something?" One of the rebels asked with a frown.
"You're way too jumpy, there's no one here." Said the Rebel's companion.
"Your ears couldn't hear a blaster go off even if it was right by your face." The other scolded before coming towards X-1's hiding spot.
X-1 gripped his hands tightly, thanking his young looks as he pulled his hood down from his face and knelt on his knees.
The Rebel came around the bend, pointing his blaster at the intruder before furrowing his eyesbrows.
Before him was, a boy? A boy dressed and cloaked in black.
The boy looked up at him with a frightened expression. He almost looked traumatized to the Rebel, who was an older man and had a soft spot for young kids.
The Rebel lowered his weapon. "Hey there son, what are you doing here?" He asked gently.
The Rebel's companion joined him, raising his blaster at the boy suspiciously. "Guadar, who is this?" He asked with a frown as X-1 scooted away from the Rebel as the other, Guadar raised his hand.
"Calm down Jix, he's just a kid." Guadar scolded, grabbing the top of Jix's blaster and pushing it down.
"I'd believe it if he wasn't wearing, that." Jix said, still wary even as he allowed his blaster to be lowered while gesturing to X-1's black attire.
