Talia's POV

I climb out of the car with a sigh. Krystina was complaining about going shopping, but after coming to a compromise we decided to shop for books for her THEN go buy her clothes. She's running into the book store like a fucking crazy person yelling how happy she is. Everyone laughs but I just shake my head. Krystina is unique, in a stupidly awesome way. I'm jealous that she's willing to look like an idiot, running into the store.

I walk in and see a Starbucks, I immediately walk over and smile as I reach the cashier. "Hi, what can I get you?"

"A grande Double Chocolate Chip with White Mocha." Also known as the amazing Oreo Frappachino.

"$4.57." I pull out my debit card and slide it. I was the only person there so I shouldn't have to wait long. After punching in my PIN number and signing the receipt, I was handed my coffee. "Here you go Miss." I grab it with a smile, I'm not old, why is she calling me Miss?

"Thanks lady." She glares at me for a spit second then goes back to smiling. I walk away with a cocky smirk on my face, I guess I just enjoy getting on people's nerves. It's better than killing people. I look around and see Krystina scanning though books that she more than likely read before, I squint and see the title, 'Kissed By An Angel' by Elizabeth Chandler. I nod and walk down the isles, I see Ms. Masters looking at the crime and mystery. I walk farther down and see Danni looking through the self improvement section, I look at the book and read the title, 'Flavorful and Filling Foods Under 1000'. I look ahead and see Aubrey and Frayia in the children's book section, Aubrey is sitting in a chair and Frayia is sitting on the floor like a child looking completely absorbed in 'The Hungry Caterpillar' book Aubrey was reading her.

I laugh and walk over to my section. Manga. I scan through the first few quickly, I've read Fruits Basket, I've read Black Bird, I've read DeathNote, now I'm on Naruto. I've watched the anime but I've never read the manga. I grab the first book and look at the price, it's on sale! 5.99! I can get two and it would be the price of one!

I slide the first book under my arm and grab the second one. I place it between my knees and take off the lid of my Starbucks, I've never understood that, they don't add any fucking whipped cream on it. I lick around the edges and take a big chug of my Frappachino. I moan at the Oreo flavored deliciousness. I grab the book under my arm and manage to grab the book between my legs and turn around. I feel my hand bump into someone and soon I'm covered in a lukewarm beverage, it's not mine, mine is blended ice! I look up and see a guy looking down at his shirt.

"Shit. This was my favorite shirt." I stutter and clear my throat.

"I'm so sorry." He looks over at me and smiles.

"Looks like we're even." I look back down at my shirt and see the huge brown blob. I sigh heavily and look at my Frappachino.

"I just got it and it's already half empty."

"Well I doubt you'd want to but you can eat it off of me." I feel a blush rise to my cheeks, he laughs. "Sorry if I made this awkward. I'm sorry about your shirt." I look at my hand holding the books.

"My manga is safe, fuck the shirt." He laughs again.

"You're cute." I look up at him with a semi serious face. "What? Do I have to get to know you before making observations?" I laugh and bite my tongue lightly. "It laughs! You're not a robot."

"You got a mouth on you." He raises an eyebrow.

"Yes and eyes, a nose and maybe even a few teeth." I laugh at the terrible joke.
