"Listen up, babies!" said Anna that Thursday Morning.

"LYCANROC! "

"I have something special planned for tomorrow,"

"Oh God," said Kanata as he clapped his hands together "Please, please may it not be another treasure hunt,"

"Don't worry Kanata baby, it's a Go-kart race! Each of you will build your own kart and we'll race it tomorrow at the track,"

"Build a kart in one day?" said Alice "I don't think we can do that,"

"Of course we can!" said Yume

"Not so fast," said Anna "There's a catch,"

"Yes, the signature catch," said Raichi "Don't tell me, we share karts?"

"No Raichi baby, your power source must come from your Pokemon partner. Example, Kanata baby has Heliolisk. Heliolisk is an Electric type, so, the kart could be powered by electricity,"

"Okay! Haruka gets it!" said Haruka "Haruka is already coming up with so many ideas,"

"Me too!" said Yume "But where do we start?"

"The garage?" Sena guessed

"Haha," said Raichi

"No, Tsubasa baby is right," said Anna "We have a garage with everything you need,"

"What!?! Why did Koharu forget practically everything on the tour?" said Kanata

"And ... GO!"

"Haruka wants to go fast!" said Haruka as the six of them designed their kart ideas in the garage. "So she wants ... rockets,"

"You'll die," said Sena as he drew

"I don't know how I'm going to power my kart," said Alice "Ralts only knows Psychic and barley knows Psybeam, and I have zero ideas on how to use Rockruff's rock type moves for power,"

"Well use Ralts," said Kanata "You can build it so it's power it with Psychic instead of gas you use Psychic,"

"Huh ... Yeah! That could work! Thanks Kanata!"

"What about you, Yume?" Raichi asked

"Well Chesnaught is too heavy to fit on the kart," said Yume "But I thought that Pin Missile could be a nice fuel, considering how powerful it is. But no matter how fast it goes Chesnaught won't be able to ride,"

"Well our partners should be on the kart their fueling," said Sena

"What power are you using, Sena?" Alice asked

"Fairy power," he said with upmost seriousness "Cutiefly's Moonblast should have tons of power and a great energy source,"

"Can you imagine what it will be like when we actually make these?" said Raichi

"And in twenty-four hours too," said Haruka "Even more exciting! Go! Go! Go!"

"She's waiting again," Raichi whispered that afternoon as they looked out the window of the dorms and to Yume who waited for the mail again.

"This is sad to watch," said Alice

"Yeah," Everyone replied

"Should we ... take her back inside?" Sena asked 

"Let's let her be for now," said Kanata

"But it hurts to watch," said Haruka "Do you think she'll ever get a letter,"

"At this point ... I don't know," said Kanata

"Alright babies!" said Anna the next morning (well closer to noon, around 12 O'clock. But it's not important) "Get your karts ready,"

"Your karts look so cool," said Alice

"Yours too," said Raichi

"Uh ... Yume," said Sena "Are you sure your kart will ... go?"

"Huh? Yeah, why do you ask?" Yume asked

"Well, you do have a metal cylinder on the back of your kart," said Kanata

"Yeah, pretty clever right?"

"... Sure!" said Haruka

"Alright babies, to the starting line!"

The six of them got their karts ready.

"Start your engines!"

"By the power of wind power!" said Haruka "Rowlet use Leaf Brigade!"

"ROW! "

"Thunder Shock, Heliolisk!" said Kanata

"LISK! "

"Cutiefly use Moonblast!" said Sena

"FLY! "

"Petal Blizzard Ivysaur!" said Raichi

"Saur! "

"Get ready to use Psychic," said Alice

"Get ready too, Chesnaught," said Yume (Chesnaught is on the cylinder)

"And ... GO!"

Ralts started using Psychic, and Chesnaught used Rollout and the karts started going!

"OH YEAH!!!" cried Yume as she rode off "This is speed!"

"More power Heliolisk!" said Kanata

"Heli! "

"I am not getting left behind in the dust!" said Raichi "SPAM IT IVYSAUR!!"

"Ivysaur! "

"Well I won't slow down!" said Yume "Chesnaught, pick up some speed! Faster!"

"Naught! "

And ... Yume drove off the track. "Too fast!"

"Ha! I'm winning!" said Raichi

"Raichi look out for the turn!" said Alice

"Huh?"

Crash!

Well ... more of a BONK!

"And the winner is ... KANATA AND HELIOLISK BABY!!"

"Thank you, thank you. Yume are you alright?" Kanata asked as he ran over to his foster-sister.

"I'm fine,"

"Chesnaught! "

"Are you okay Raichi?" Alice asked

"I'm fine," said Raichi as he brushed off the dirt from his face. He stood up and grinned "See? In tip-top shape!"

"Raichi!" Sena called "We're planning a party for Kanata! Not cause it's a big accomplishment but because we want cake!"

"Coming!" said Raichi, he ran over to Yume. "Your magic worked," he whispered "I'm cured from my crush!"

"Yeah ... okay. I didn't do anything but sure," said Yume

Alice smiled, Raichi was kind of cute with dirt on his face.
