"Can't catch me!" said Yume as she ran thru the streets of Alola

"Yume wait!" said Kanata

Yume just laughed and ran faster until she finally reached the fountain in the square. "I won!" Yume turned, but her friends were gone. "Kanata? Alice?" No response. Come to think of it, where were any people at all. "Raichi? Sena? Haruka?"

"They're not here,"

Yume gasped then sighed with relief "It's you!" she said "Shadow, right?"

"Marshadow actually," he replied "And yes, I'm a Pokemon,"

"Cool,"

"Yes, yes it's so cool, but we have to go!" said Marshadow

"Go? Go where?" Yume asked

"Off the island, and far away from here. Someone is after you Yume,"

"After me? But who -"

"His name is Grim," Marshadow answered "Now let's go! I need to make sure he never reaches you!"

"Why?"

"No time to explain, follow me,"

Marshadow started running and - not knowing what else to do - Yume followed him.

"Get in the boat!" said Marshadow

"You can drive a boat?" Yume asked as she put on a life preserver.

"Yes actually,"

"AHA!" Boomed a loud voice "You thought you could escape from me?" A man wearing a dark cloak started running after them.

"Who's that?" Yume asked

"That's Grim," Marshadow answered "Now let's go!"

Marshadow started the boat and they were off, with Grim following behind.

"What about my friends?" Yume asked "They'll be worried about me,"

"Your friends are fine!" said Marshadow "It's you I have to worry about,"

"YOU CAN'T ESCAPE!" Grim called out to them.

"Why are we running?" Yume asked "I have a couple of trusty partners in my -" Yume reached into her pocket. They were empty. "What?!? Where are my Pokemon?"

"No time to explain! Take the wheel!"

"What!?!"

"Take the wheel!" Marshadow walked away and Yume quickly grabbed the wheel and panicked. She couldn't  drive a boat.

"Take this Grim!" said Marshadow then he used Shadow Ball a multiple of times until Grim's boat crashed.

"You got him!" said Yume

"Yume look out!" Marshadow cried

"AH!" And then Yume crashed her boat into a rock and she started to sink into the water.

Then Yume started falling. "Ah!"

"Got'cha!" said Marshadow as he took her hand. Was he in a helicopter?

"How are you so strong for a Pokemon your height?" Yume asked as he pulled her inside.

"It's forever a mystery," he replied "Now we need to hurry, Grim is right on our tail!"

"Grim?"

"He's out to get you Yume, look behind you!"

Yume looked out the back window and saw a black helicopter following them. "What!?!" she cried "But I thought we beat him at the boats,"
