The Injury

When Jared's mother and Jared arrived at the hospital, they discovered that Pedro had been moved to critical condition area. The doctors did not know what's wrong with him. They knew that he had a broken arm but then he was starting to feel really sick the day before. That's why the hospital kept him for another day. they were doing many tests but could not figure out what was wrong with him.

They knew that he had a fever and he kept getting back spasms randomly. His eyes would also roll in the back of his head sometimes. It was like something was possessing him. Jared and Jared's mother didn't really believe in the paranormal. They wanted to think there was A logical explanation in all of this.

Jared tried to talk to Pedro, however, Pedro would just stay right Jared and then roll his eyes back into his head. Jared's mom was yelling at the doctors to figure out what was wrong with Pedro, however, the doctors told her they were trying their best. They had one more test to do, it seemed like the only thing to do, bring in a priest. Jared's mother didn't think that was a good idea but Pedro's mother agreed to it so she couldn't say anything.

Pedro's mom came to the hospital just before they were going to have the priest come. She actually had to sign a paper to agree for priest to be there. The priest did the ritual and then Pedro starts to act crazy. He started to talk in a very deep voice and was talking about killing himself. He was also saying how everyone was going to die unless Jared went with him. Everyone did not get why he was threatening to kill everyone. Jared was scared for his life.

Jared thought, "Is something after me? Do I need to be blessed or something?" He was also thinking to himself, "I don't know anything about that stuff." The priest said that Jared would have to stay away from Pedro for a while. The priest also felt an evil presence within Pedro. Pedro was not Pedro anymore. There was something that was trying to reach out to Jared through Pedro. No one knew what to do.

Jared and his mother went home that night very confused. They did not know what to think and they did not know what they just witnessed. Again, they were not so much believers of the paranormal but got again what was the thing they just witnessed. They knew in their hearts that that was not Pedro anymore. It was something Else that was literally after Jared.
