Hades Son

The Dream

That night Jared had a dream that Hades came to him and told him he had a decision to make. He had to choose if he was going to live with him in the underworld or live with the humans. Jared couldn't even speak in the dream, he just looked around really confused. He didn't know what was going on. He tried to wake up but he couldn't. Suddenly Hades disappeared and Jared woke up from the dream.

Jared went downstairs to the kitchen. His mother was there making eggs and bacon. Jared wanted to tell his mother the dream he had but he didn't want to scare her. Jared also want to figure out what Hades was saying. That he had a decision to make: to live with him in the underworld or with the humans. Does this mean Jared was not a human? He wanted to know all the answers but he knew it would take time. He was also very scared to find out most of the answers.

After breakfast Jared and his mother went to the hospital to see Pedro. Pedro was getting better. Jared and his mother were really happy. Pedro want to know how Jared was and Jared and his mother just looked at each other, however, Jared said, "We have been just worrying about you." Jared said, "don't worry, I will be out of here soon." Jared went downstairs to the cafeteria and brought Pedro a turkey sandwich. Pedro was very thankful. He hated the hospital food that they brought him.

When Jared and his mother got home, Jared decided that he was going to tell her about his dream. He sat his mother down and she looked really nervous. His mother did not know what to expect. Jared told her that Hades came to him in saying that he had a decision to make; to live with him in the underworld or live with the humans. Jared's mother didn't know what to think about this. She asked Jared if he knew what Hades meant and Jared said no.

After dinner, Jared and his mother decided to watch a movie. They knew it should not be a horror movie knowing what has been going on. They watched the only family movie they could think of that didn't have anything bad in it mostly, The Jungle Book. After the movie, Jared and his mother went to sleep. Jared's mother tucked him in and said sweet dreams. Jared was scared to go to sleep but soon enough he fell asleep and started dreaming.
