Hades Son

The Final Decision

Jared was thinking about everything. He never actually knew his father. He just knew that his mother would always tell him that his father passed away in a car crash. His mother never showed him any pictures of his father. It was time to find out the truth.

Jared went downstairs to the kitchen. His mother was sitting down at the table. Jared sat down and his mother asked him what he wanted for breakfast. Jared said, "I'm not hungry right now but I want to talk to you about something." His mother asked him, "what do you want to talk about?" Jared said, "I want to talk about my father."

Jared's mother asked, "Did you have a dream with Hades last night?" Jared said, "yes, that's why I want to talk about my father." Jared asked his mother, "why haven't you showed me a picture of my father?" Jared's mother said, "I don't have any pictures of your father." Jared was really suspicious of this.

Jared told his mother, "In my dream, Hades put his hands on me and a lot of memories came to my mind, all of me in Hades house when I was younger." Jared's mother said, "that's very weird." Jared asked, "is it true? Am I actually Hades son?" Jared's mother was very nervous and then Pedro and his mother came into the kitchen and sat down at the table.

Jared's mother just looked at Jared signaling they would talk about it later. Now Jared was really curious what his mothers answer was going to be to his question. Jared and his mother say good morning to Pedro and Pedro's mother. Pedro's mother said to Jared's mother, "why don't we make scrambled eggs and bacon today." Jared's mother said, "that's a good idea."

Jared whispered to Pedro, "I need to talk to you after breakfast." Pedro was scared of what Jared was going to talk to him about. From everything going on with Hades, Pedro never knew what was going to happen next. They all had their eggs and bacon for breakfast and then Jared and Pedro went up to Jared's room to talk. Pedro walked up the stairs slowly trying to think about what Jared was going to talk to him about.

Jared said to Pedro, "I had a dream with Hades last night that he touched me and memories came to me where I was in Hades house when I was younger." Pedro said to Jared, " what does that mean? Are you actually Hade's son?" Jared said, "that's what I'm trying to figure out. I asked my mother about my father and why she doesn't show pictures of him to me and she said she doesn't have any pictures." Pedro said, "that's not right." Jared said, "yeah and when I asked her if I was actually Hades son she looked weirdly at me but then you and your mother sat down at the table so she signaled me that we would talk later about it.

Pedro told Jared that he has to talk to his mother as soon as possible. Jared had a feeling what the answer was going to be from his mother but he knew he would have to really get it out of it from her. That night, before going to bed, Jared went to his mothers bedroom and knocked on the door. Jared asked his mother, "Is it OK to come in so we can talk?" Jared's mother said, "yes, come in." Jared said, "about what I asked at the table, am I Hades son?" Jared's mother looked really nervous but then told Jared the truth. She said, "I really didn't want to have to tell you this but you are Hade's son."

Jared was furious and she was mad at his mother for not telling him the truth in the first place. His mother said, "Understand that I am never wanted to lose you. That's why I never told you the truth." Jared said to his mother, "well then I guess I have to go to hell to live with Hades. Hades was actually telling the truth." His mother said, "I would be devastated if you went but I would still understand."

Jared ran to Pedro's bedroom and told him what had happened. Pedro asked Jared, "Are you really going to go live with Hades in hell?" Jared said, "seems like I have to." Pedro said, "I will miss you so much. You are my best friend and we will always be best friends." Jared said, "of course we will be." Jared hugged Pedro and said goodbye to him. Pedro's mother was asleep so Jared told Pedro to tell his mother that he says goodbye. Pedro said, "I will."

Jared went back to his mothers room. She was sitting up on her bed thinking about how her son was going to live in hell with Hades now. Jared went to the bed and sat down and said, "I will always be watching over you I am making sure nothing bad happens to you. I love you mom." Jared's mother said, "I love you to Jared." Jared hugged and kissed his mother one last time and then got up and went into his room and went to sleep.

Jared thought about Hades and the decision he was making before he went to bed so he would dream about Hades. He did dream about Hades. Hades came to him and said, "I understand that you have accepted my offer to come and live with me in hell in my house." Jared said, "yes, I have." Hades said, "Don't worry, your family and friends will be fine. I won't touch them and neither will my demons. Besides I am your father and nothing bad will happen to you." I already have your bedroom prepared for you. Hades said, "when you wake up you will be lying in your bed but it will be our house in Hell."

For the next few months Jared really missed his friends and family and most of all his mother and Pedro. He really got to know Hades and his true side. He wasn't all evil. He was actually a really nice guy. Jared never thought he would be describing Hades like that. Hades gave Jared everything he wanted And most of all Hades did love Jared.

Several years went by and Jared had got used to living with Hades. He would think about his family and friends time to time. Then Hades finally told Jared, "you have lived with me for seven years. I will now allow you to go back and be with your mother and your best friend." Jared had gotten so used to living with Hades he didn't know if you could actually go back. However, he did really miss his mother and Pedro so Jared said, "yes, I do want to go back to my mother and my best friend but I just want you to know that I have actually enjoyed my stay and will tell everyone how good you really are." Hades loved that Jared said this. He always wanted everyone to know his true side.

Jared went back to live with his mother. By then, Pedro and Pedro's mother had moved out of the house and moved back into their own house. First, Jared hugged his mother for a long time when he saw her. Jared told his mother what Hades had let him do. Jared's mother was so happy. Jared also told his mother how sweet and loving Hades really is. Because Jared was saying it, his mother believed it.

Afterwards, Jared went to Pedro's house. His mother open the door and Jared told Pedro's mother what Hades had done for him and how he really was. Pedro's mother was just happy that Jared was back. She told him that Pedro was in his room. Jared ran straight upstairs to Pedro's room.

When Pedro saw Jared, he didn't even think about it and hugged Jared. Picture asked Jared, "but how are you here?" Jared told Pedro what Hades had done and what Hades was actually like. Pedro was happy that Jared was back and he believed Jared that Hades was actually good. Jared and Pedro talked for a long time telling each other what had happened in those seven years. Then Jaron went home, had dinner with his mother, and they watched a funny movie.

That night, Jared had a dream but not with Hades. Jared dreamt that he was flying. When Jared woke up he was happy about his dream. Jared knew that all his problems were over. Everyone never saw Hades ever again and lived happily ever after...or did they.
