Hour 6

"Who the hell is that?" Rose asked slightly coughing.

Carl didn't respond instead he pulled Rose into the bushes and watched what the man.

"Love Boy, what the hell is going on who is that?" She asked pushing back her red hair.

"Someone that you don't wanna ever meet, the governor." Carl whispered.

"Why don't we just...." Carl cut her off.

"No he will kill us. Come one let's go another way." Carl replied gripping her hand tighter.

The ran back to the prison avoiding a few walkers, just in time Rick was looking for them.

"Dad, someone's scouting the prison I think it's that governor guy." Carl urgently said.

"Carl he doesn't know were here." Rick said brushing what Carl said off.

Carl didn't care he smiled and kissed Roses cheek. Asking how long she had she had 2 hours left counting now. He grasped her hand and they began running. Without his weight pulling her and his support she would be on the ground.

The infection had spread a lot. Her skin was barley noticeable her arm had turned the grey green color of a walker, except her hands. The bite showed her muscle tissue and the blood was not a beautiful HUMAN red but a hideous black grey and red color. She felt barley anything and she had a hard time breathing.

You know those halcyon moments like your first kiss, your first boyfriend or your wedding. How about those paradisiacal moments were nothing bad is going to happen and you feel genuinely happy and nothing bad will ever happen to you. Or how about those pulchritudinous nostalgic moments were you are left starry-eyed. Imagine all of these at once, that's how Roselyn felt around Carl. He was the only thing keeping her standing and living. They had stopped running and were in the front field. Carl sat down and pulled Rose next to him.

"If I lost you and my sister or dad I would be broken. You guys are my everything." He said quietly. Rose rested her aching head on his shoulder.

"I always loved you, from when I heard you name I felt this weird sensation of something...." Her enchanting voluptuous voice trailed off. She began coughing, Carl quickly handed her a bandana hers to be exact. She stopped a few seconds later pulling the bandana away they saw blood a lot of it. "I don't want to leave." She cried.

Carl held her tightly not wanting her to leave him. He felt selfish for thinking this, the universe wanted her go but he didn't. If he knew early he could have saved her but he didn't and she was leaving slowly and painfully.

"Enjoy right now." Carl smirked. He laid his head on the grass and placed his hat on Roses head. She smiled and held her knees close, then she closed her eyes.

Letting go of everything sounded good, really good. But leaving Carl and Judith and Daryl didn't it made her heart ache. She opened her eyes and saw Carls blue gray eyes.

"I love you." She whispered. He smiled back and said I love you too. Her eyes were being surrounded by darkness she knew time was tick tick ticking.
