*Several years pass, Justin and Kaylin are 13 years old and they are both super close friends with Ryan and Chaz. Justin, at times, can get a bit annoyed at the boys when they hang out with Kaylin. Kaylin has now gotten over the fact that her mom isn't going to return, it was hard but she got through it, and it more comfortable calling Pattie "Mom" *

It's the last day of school, thank god. I can't wait for summer break. I just gotta wait for the bell to ring in a few minutes, as I'm currently in my last class of the day. Or should I say year?

This day has been a drag. All the teachers have been blabbing on and on about how great we've been all year, blah blah blah. Not that I've been listening. That stopped during 3rd period. I've noticed they all say the same thing: "You all are the best group of students we've had this year", "Have a great summer" and "Stay safe."  Nothing original.

I intently watch the clock tick when finally the annoying buzzing of the bell rang through the school. I'll never have to listen to that sound for a while. Finally! No more dealing with 8th grade material. I run out of class and to my locker.

'31,5,23' I thought to myself, reciting my locker combination. I lifted the knod and click, I got it to open. I get my backpack and clean out my locker, not even bothering to say bye to anyone but Miss Bunwen, my history teacher, she was by far the best teacher I've had in years. I also headed over to Danny Wager's locker to say bye to him. I had a tiny crush on him a while back, but I'm over him. He's just a good friend, I guess you could say. After that final goodbye I decided to head home.

I heard the bell ring and I got my stuff, heading out of class, smirking. I was the last one out, as usual. Right when I left the class though, I heard a scream as I predicted

Score. I thought, flipping my hair.

I poked my head inside the class again and found my history teacher, Ms. Bunwen, staring at something that I put on her chair. When she saw me standing at the doorway, her face boiled.

"Justin, did you put this on my chair?" she asked me angirly.

"Maybe," I played." but it was a joke." I tried to hold back my laughter. But it really was a joke. It's what I'm best at, c'mon. I wanted her to remember me by something. I just didn't think she would scream that loudly. All she did was sit on the schools left over chili. God! You can buy a new dress, woman.

"Mr. Bieber, this is not, under any circumstances, tolerated in my class! Do you hear me?"She yelled.

"Yes." I answered, not caring about a single word she said.

"Where did you even get this?"

"The cafeteria. Where else?" I said honestly.

"You're lucky it's the last day of school. You would've gotten detention and lunch with the principal tomorrow, and possibly even suspended," she added as I left the class, laughing my ass off.

I went to my locker and got my stuff then headed home.

I was currently 5 houses away from mine and couldnt wait to get home. Not only because it was summer but because I wanted to check YouTube. I started walking faster. I wanted to see how many hits my videos got. I heard from a few people at school that they were huge! I ran up the driveway and opened the door, to the sight of Mom on the phone.

I was walking down the neighborhood when I saw Ryan and Chaz walking home too. I ran over so I could walk with them.
