Chapter Thirty-Two

Ok Just to let you all know AGAIN! I have NOTHING against Selena G. I'm a HUGE fan of her actually! But for the sake of this story, I had to write what I did. DON'T HATE!

Chapter 32:

Everyone looked down and I knew something terrible had happened.

"Jaz...is dead." Justin said softly. "When the ambulance got to you guys, she was already gone. There was nothing they could do. They said-"

"SHUT UP" I yelled. Tears were already down my cheek. I could feel it burning my face as it dripped. Next thing I knew the sheets were soaked. I looked up at Justin, mad as I was, and said, "YOU'RE LYING. Why would you do that?" I said a little softer this time.

"Kay-" he started.

"Get OUT If you're gonna lie to me then just.....GET OUT" I said. I curled up into a ball and just cried.

Everyone left the room except Justin.

"I'm so sorry" he whispered. Then he left.

I knew he was right. That Jaz really was gone. But it didn't feel like she was gone. It was like she was alive in some sense that I couldn't describe.

A half and hour later, Elise came in to talk.

"It's gonna be ok." She said

"I know" I cracked.

"Elise??" I asked

"ya"

"I'm obviously gonna have to cancel babysitting your brother tomorrow I'm not feeling well as you can see! " I said

"I know. And btw you were supposed to babysit him 3 days ago."

WHAT!!!!!!

"You were in a 2 days and then were unconscious the other 2." She explained.

"Oh" I said as I was trying to process everything I heard since I woke up.

"So when do I get out of here??"

"2 days" she answered.

"Oh CRAP. Isn't your birthday like Tomorrow?? " I asked. I still haven't gotten her a present.

No wait I Did. The day I went to the mall with....Jaz.

"Ya but the party is in 4 so you'll be back before then!!" she said

"Ok AWESOME" I said "Well happy early b-day I'll try to call you tom."

"Ok she responded "Feel better" She patted my shoulder then left. I thought for a while and then dozed off into never ever land. :)

I woke up and mom was sitting next to me. "Hey sweeite." She said

"Morning" I answered. Right then I remembered everything from yesterday. The mall. Jaz. I tried hard to keep everything inside. 'No tears no nothing.' I thought.

"Selena wants to see you, you know. She's been worried sick."

"Sure mom. sure"

"No sweetie I'm serious. She has been crying for the past 4 days. She would barely eat anything" Mom said.

"Mom she's an actress. I think she can cry on command." I said getting pissed at mom for talking about her first thing in the morning.

It gets on peoples nerves when you talk about their enemy literally RIGHT when you wake up.

"But-" mom started

"MOM IF IT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH SELENA I DON'T WANNA HEAR IT" I yelled.

"I don't know why you hate her so much. She's a really great young lady once you get to know her." Mom said disappointedly. Then her facial expression changed and a smile grew on her face. "You hungry?" Mom asked. "They have bacon!"

"Sure" I said.

Mom left and The nurse brought in some eggs, bacon, toast and orange juice....my favorite. I finished and had the nurse took the plate away, when Selena walked in.

"So I heard you're getting better" She said walking to the edge of my bed and taking a seat. "Ya I am" I answered. A silence came and all I could hear was us breathing. "Look, no offence, but I'm NOT in the mood to talk.....to YOU" I said meaningfully.

"I know but I just wanna let you know that I'll be there for you just like Jaz was. I wanna be your friend, but lately you've been ignoring me. It's been so hard on everyone for the past few days. Especially me. Wer're like sisters." She said flatly with no emotion what-so-ever.

"Ok you can like cut the crap now! I'm getting sick and tired of you walking into my life and taking it apart. You're basically just taking my spot in the family and you're pretending as if that's the way it supposed to be. You took everything from me. You are just one big stuck up snob who somehow manages to get everyone on YOUR side."

"I didn't take anything from you" She said angrily. "I didn't mean to ruin your life either, I mean really, It's not my fault your family likes me better then you. So maybe-"

"It's not just that, you also took away Justin. He was, and still is, everything to me. " I said honestly.

"Aww isn't that nice! You are in LOVE with your legal brother! So uhhhh there is no WAY you can be together. He is MINE! So you stay away from him ok? OR ELSE " she said. Boy was she mad.

"OR else what?" I said looking at her straight in the eye.

She leaned in. "That's for me to know and you to find out." She whispered. Then she left without saying another word.
