Mate.
It clung to her like a weighted blanket and yet she did not feel as if she was suffocating her. She felt like the words gave her the direction, the clarity she needed confirmed. Her breath hitched, her heart aligning with his as his eyes searched hers. She wasn't sure if he was fearful that she would run from those words with the way he was looking at her and watching what lay behind her purple eyes. It was unnerving but she knew she was tired of running.
She would have done so this morning but with time and her thoughts she knew this was her place, her home. She had been married to him once, laid with him as an elf and as a human and she wanted it again. SHe wanted all of him for those stolen years. She needed him to keep her grounded as she fought her way through the trials ahead. "And you are mine." She gritted through her teeth hating to even break the kiss for a moment longer.
His hands grasped her hips pushing her closer to him as they locked in each other's grip and taste of their lips, tongues clashing and her hands pulled at his tunic making it fly after it went past his head. His fingers did the same, tracing the tucked in shirt and as it was stuck within her pants he decided to grab the front v of it and rip her bare. The rip and the cool air speckled her skin as she shrugged the rest of the shirt off. "You're so lucky that wasn't my corset or I would have killed you." She nipped at his ear, her hand finding the buckle of his pants. Faster, she wanted him now, needed his hands and lips all over her body.
"I would never. The shirt was no big deal; you have others like it. The corset, well, I know where I would be if I did." His laugh was husky, his eyes smoldering on her scared chest and her heart nearly leapt to her throat and she dug her hands in his long black hair. The way his lips found the pinkish scar and gingerly kissed between her breasts made her whimper. She could tell through the kiss he wished his own kisses could erase the scar like elven magic could. Being human had their limits bound, the healers not able to fully erase the scar. "You're so beautiful, Falencia."
Toes curling at his words, she arched her back as he took her in his mouth and she saw stars as she begged for more. He obliged with a husky laugh and his arms pulled her closer to him so she could lay on top of him as they laid back on the bed having the skin on skin contact they so desperately needed. He loved her and he would do anything to keep her, to have her for the rest of their life and he prayed nothing would take her from him ever again.
Falencia woke to the sun on her face, gritting her teeth at the brightness but glad to see another morning. Since the attack two days ago she realized in this life she had a second chance and could not slip through her fingers. A strong arm tightened around her waist pushing her closer to the front of his body and she smiled, her body almost quivered at the sleepless night they had, part of her wanting more. "Don't tempt me mate." He ground through sleepy mumbles. Her body shook at the word.
"Mate." She cooed. "I will have to get used to that word as well."
"I could call you my wife. You are that as well. If it pleases your human side."
Falencia gasped at that, looking over her shoulder. She caught his square features in the sunlight, his green eyes still burned with desire and yet the cloudiness of sleep still covered the full shine. His black hair was a mess courtesy of her hands raking through it as they intertwined as one under the sheets their second time around. "Just because I am human doesn't mean I follow their customs, let alone know what they are, Husband."
"Wicked even in the morning are we?" His kiss to her cheek made her flush, pushing herself firmly against him to understand that she could be worse. "Okay I get it. Let us sleep for a little bit more before I ravish you again."
Swallowing hard she begged for sleep to come but she knew it was of no use. His words drove her wild and all she could do was lay there against him and brush his hand with hers as he fell asleep beside her. A mighty warrior indeed snoring and all.
