Lance had spent endless week with Pidge, trying to figure out some way to contact Keith. The Cuban male had felt so... lonely without the hot-headed man around their quarters. And it's not that he missed the arguing, he just missed the general idea of Keith walking these halls. His humming, and constant training. The way he assured Lance everything would be fine. At this point, Lance had no one to talk to because no one wanted to listen. Not even Hunk. Keith was the only one there when Lance wanted to give up and leave the team. the only one to make him important. Now, he didn't think he had a crush on the half-Galra, but he missed him. He also missed home, but that wasn't the point.
He sat down with the little device Pidge had given him, which was somehow supposed to connect to a computer. It was like their system when they communicate to The Blade as a team, but smaller and accessible to one person only. So, he typed in the coordinates specified to the one Pidge, might I had rather secretly, snuch in to the headquarters. She was sneakier and smarter than anyone could've guessed. Plus, this was helping some friends.
If this had worked right, a little ringing could be going off near Keith's quarters. inside, actually. To keep it hidden from anyone. This was their thing, to be private. Their conversations. And Lance waited, praying to the stars this worked.
