Riverdale {Reggie Mantle}

chapter two

Joaquins POV

As I walk into Riverdale halls everything stops. Everyone stares at me "where is Rebecca DeSantos?" I ask a tall kid with dark hair and brown eyes and a snapback on backwards.

"Why would I know" He says cocky like he's all that. This makes me mad seeing as I'm about to slam him into the wall but a voice stops me. "Joaquin what are you doing here?" Rebecca asks in her emotionless voice.

"Paying my older sister a visit" I tell her (okay so I don't know his age and yeah). "No what do you really want" She says making me sigh. "Fine I came to get my extra set of keys from you" I say making her let out a cold chuckle.

She tosses something at me and I catch it last minute "next time don't forget" She says and i nod my head. "Yeah yeah whatever see ya" I say as i "leave". As soon as I turn the corner I stop and peek my head out a but you see the tall cocky kid standing in front of her smirking.

He says something and she says something back making his smirk drop as he watches her walk away. I shake my head he is never gonna get her that way. I walk out of the school and hop on my bike.

Starting my bike up I drive away with one thought on my mind 'I'm going to kill whoever said Rebecca is a traitor'.

Rebecca's POV.
As I walk away I feel Reggie's eyes follow me. I give him the bird and turn the corner only to run into a chest. I look up to see chuck Clayton.

He gives me a smile and I remain the same. His smile drops and I go to watch around him but his arm catches me last minute. "One date?" He says making me scoff.

"Please as if I'd ever go with you" I say and he rolls his eyes. "Fine" I say "really" He says making me smirk. "Sure.... When I'm dead" I say and walk away.

~Time skip~
We are in a lounge type area everyone is sitting but Jughead who's standing by the vending machine.

Reggie starts running his mouth and ends up knocking Archie out. "What a sucker punch" I say making everyone look at me but jug takes Archie to the nurses. "What" He says as he walks closer to me.

He thinks he's threatening "listen here pretty boy. You might be tall and built but I can take you down in less then .2 seconds so back off" I say glaring up at him.

"Pretty boy huh" He says smirking. "Yeah pretty boy got a problem with it" I say as I walk out. "Nope the opposite actually" He says as he follows me. "Why are you following me" I hiss at him.

He shrugs his shoulders and puts and arm around my shoulder. "No reason" He says as he looks down at me and smiles. 'His smile is cute' I think as I look away and shrug his arm off my shoulder. "Listen its best if you just leave me alone ok" I say.

His smile drops "why" He asks me. "Because Reggie one. I'm a serpent and your not. Two. I'm wayyyy out of your league" I say as I walk faster but he just catches up. The halls are empty right now and I hate it. I don't want to be in the same Hall as him.

He pushes me into the lockers. He has both arms on either side of me trapping me in "and how is that a problem and don't get too confident in yourself" He says smirking. "Shut up mantle and let me go" I hiss as he shakes his head keeping that stupid smirk on.

"Not happening Princess" He says and I scoff. "Please I'm anything but a princess" I say and he frowns.

3rd person POV.

What the two didn't know is that the group is spying on them. "Why hasn't she broke his arms yet" Archie asks and the other shrug. "Either she doesn't care or she's just waiting for the perfect moment" Jughead says as he watches the serpent who was transferred to the school.
