End of flashback.

Nathan's pov

He was fiddling with his pen in the office room. He missed Amber so much and he realized what a selfish arrogant man he was to leave her alone when she was pregnant.

It has been a month since she survived alone in that hotel room. He wondered about her well being. He wanted someone to take care of her due to his absence.

He worked hard day and night. He was even sick for a week as he didn't consume his meals on time.

He wanted a better outcome in his life. He also knew how Joy was playing with him when she realized that he left Amber for a while.
He regretted allowing himself getting drunk and being touched by other girls.

He wanted this phase to end and he wanted Amber in his arms again.

Amber's pov

She was walking to the boutique she visited with Nathan.
She saw Hazel as she invited her with her cheeky smile. She was happy to have company after being left alone by her husband.

"Long time mrs.Amber , how're you doing ? Didn't you bring your husband along?" , she asked.

"I'm doing very well , thank you. Oh that's a long story. Jungkook ... I mean Nathan has some work to do." , she sighed as she lied to Hazel.

"Speaking of Jungkook , who's that person? I know someone named Jungkook." , Hazel told Amber as she looked at her in surprise.

"Oh actually I'm from Korea and Jungkook is my husband Nathan's korean name. Who is the Jungkook you know?" , she asked Hazel.

"Well , there was this time when I came to Paris and I received many texts from an unknown number telling that it is Jungkook. Something about missing Lisa and how important she was in his life.
I think I have those texts saved , lemme show you." , Hazel told her as she searched through her phone and found a folder in spam.

She handed her phone while Amber read through the texts and understood the entire flashback of her life.

Flashback
When she left Jungkook since her parents found out , she moved to California. Jungkook was separate to know where Lisa went without informing him and Kept asking Joy for her address and contact details.

Lisa handed Joy a set of fake details so that Jungkook would believe Joy and forget about Lisa slowly.

Amber was in pure shock as she realized it was her boy's texts.

Why did you let go of me ? What have I done that made you realize that I'm not enough for you?

I miss you my love , I'm still waiting for you.

Did you have breakfast? I hope you're doing well without me.

Come back , Lisa where are you now ?

She read through some of the texts but her eyes welled up with tears.

Little did she know that he'd leave her again.
Why was he so selfish. She wondered if he'd come back.

She suddenly craved for cupcakes as she was walking with Hazel and the smell of reshot baked cupcakes filled her nostrils.

Hazel smiled at her and got her cupcakes.
She ate five of them and Hazel was surprised.
"Are you okay? How come you ate five of them in two minutes?"

She laughed. "I guess I was hungry since I didn't have dinner last night."

She spent the rest of the day talking with Hazel and helping her in the store works.
