Chapter 4

It's Monday god how I hated Mondays, the first bell rung but I had to use the fucking bathroom as I ran into a stall I heard Kirsty and her bitch squad right behind her. I finished peeing and went to go wash my hands then that's when shit went down.

"So you decided to dance with my boyfriend, huh?"

"What of it?"

"Listen now and listen good you little piece of shit, stay away from him!"

"Is that a threat or suggestion"

"Call it what you like bitch, but I'm warning you now unless you want your life to be hell"

"I thought I was already in hell, sweetheart"

Slap!

This bitch did not just slap me I thought to myself , I don't know what came over me but all I remember is that everything went black in a quick second "Mariah, NO! CONTROL YOURSELF" Vanessa yelled pushing me out the bathroom, all I felt was fire and anger in my body I had to control myself before I explode then I felt my hands burning as I opened them fire in front of my eyes. I panicked so I ran into the janitors closet an locked the door behind me trying to control the fire in my hands then I heard a knock.

"Mariah it's Vanessa honey please open the door"

"I don't want to hurt you"

"What do you mean, are you ok?

"Please stay away I can't control it"

"Control? control what? please open the door I can help you!"

I tried to unlock the door without burning it, Vanessa walked in with a shock expression on her face.

"how are you doing that?"

"If I knew wouldn't you think I would stop it?"

"Touché, ok relax, breath in and out, relax your mind"

I did exactly what Vanessa told me and what'd you know it worked. Vanessa and I went home early to figure out what the hell just happened to me in the hallway when we reached Vanessa ran me inside into her fathers study thank goodness he was home to help.

"Wait let me get this straight... You have powers? but your not a royal"

"I can't explain it either but it happened I'm a fire elemental"

"Wow your fire elemental?" Vanessa shouted

"Well that's a gift you have since you turned" Mr.jones said with a chuckle

"I guess"

"How did it happen?"

"I got really angry and bam fire floating in my hands"

Mr.Jones told me that I had to control my power or I'll bring destruction onto the earth. The fact that I'm a fire elemental and I'm not even close to royal blood scares the shit out of me. Why me? why not some other vampire? I guess I should be honored to have this power but I really don't deserve it. I went upstairs to my room when Marie came to comfort me which I really needed right now I'm happy I have Marie she always know what to say when I'm feeling down. Around 7:00 I got a call from a unknown number, "hello? who's this?" I asked "Is this mariah?" unknown person said "Yes, this is she, who's is this?" I asked "It's Jake, I wanted to call to see if you were alright" Jake said. OMG Jake..the guy is been crushing on since 10th grade is calling me. "Umm... oh hi, how'd you get my number exactly?" I asked in concern "Your sister Vanessa gave it to me, is this a bad time?" Jake asked "Oh no its fine" I said "I heard what happened in the bathroom between you and Kirsty, I can't believe she would do that it was very disrespectful and I can't date someone like that so I broke up with her" he said, Jake broke up with her for me? "Uh yea but you didn't have to break up with her" I said "I can't date some someone like that"he said with a chuckle. Vanessa came into the room giving me a sign that we had to talk ASAP "Um..Jake I have to call you later" I said hanging up before he said anything else, Vanessa gave me a look and I knew what that means.

Oh shit the vampire council.
