Mariah POV

Is This Friendship Or Love?

When I look into your eyes
all I see is your thoughts moving inside your head.
I want to say how much I love you and how much I think of you,
but all I get out of me is just looking at you and smiling,
but all I want to hear from you is that you like me
and that you feel the same rage of love like I do.
I don't know what I would do if I never met a sweet guy like you.
All the hugs I got from you didn't feel like anything to me
because I wasn't sure if it was a sign of love or friendship.
When I look up to you
you just wave back with the biggest smile you can possibly give.

I stood there staring at my phone wondering what to text them I've finally decided what to reply back to both of them I admit I did lie but who doesn't it's normal. 'I can't sorry I'm going out with Vanessa maybe next time' they both replied back saying ok. I needed to go for a run, I took a shower put on my Nike black sports bra, black and white Nike sweatpants and my black Nike runners. I put my hair into a high ponytail and jumped out my window headed toward the wood with my vampire speed.

Once I got in the wood I felt much better as the wind hit my face, I needed to get out more often it's so beautiful out here the waterfall, the river, the animals and the lovely flowers.

I heard a howl from a distance knowing it was a werewolf, "Curiosity kills the cat" my dad always used to say to me but curiosity took over. Knowing it was dangerous I went to seek out the werewolf that's when I seen him looking at me with those big black eyes full of angry and urge to kill. Cole told me everything about werewolves when we went out, by looking at this werewolf he was medium sized and brown he didn't have another werewolves with him therefore he was a rogue werewolf a loner with no alpha in control of him, he was free to do whatever he pleased. I never felt so scared as a 'Elemental vampire' wait..I'm a fucking Elemental vampire so why am I scared I should be making him scared of me right now. He leaped at me causing a large pain on my back and head, Before I could fight back the mutt bit me on my side then scratched me on my arm. I screamed in pain that's when I got angry and the fire started to form in my hands. I made a fire ball then threw it at him causing him to whimper in pain but that didn't stop him he was just starting, I ran with my vampire speed but I guess he catched up to me I was still in pain from what he did I couldn't run fast enough or fight any longer.

He started to chase me then I tripped over a tree stomp that's when he tried to leap over me but before he could come on top of on me I set his furry body on fire with my fire ball. The bite and scratch haven't even started to heal, what the hell? why aren't i healing yet? That's when the smell of sweet vanilla hit me keeping me from closing my eyes "Mate!...Wait Princess!" I looked up to see Cole in shock before I could say anything to him I blacked out.

"Is she ok? when will she wake up?" I heard Cole ask someone I couldn't open my eyes or move all I felt was the pain on my side and my arm.

"Your mate will be fine alpha Cole she just needs rest and I don't know but we've run some test on her" a male voice said

"What is Doc?"

"By how deep the cut and bite is she can't heal fast enough as normal that werewolf did something to her"

"So what are you saying"

"She's turned into a-" before he could finished I sat up when I opened my eyes I seen Cole with a shock expression on his face.

"hybrid" he finished and handed me a mirror I looked at it to see my eye balls pitched black an my pupil brownish orange like that werewolf at the forest.

"What happened to me ?" I screamed walking back an fourth, Cole tried to calm me down but I just growled at him not to touch me so he backed off.

"Please calm down Ms.Klein we've called your Mr and Mrs jones and Vanessa there on there way now and by the way I'm pack doctor Josh" he said exiting out the door

"This can't be happening I'm already a vampire now I'm a werewolf not to forget that I'm a fire Elemental!" I yelled and Cole disobeyed my growl from earlier and pulled me into a tight hug.

I felt so safe, so warm in his arms I wish I could stay in his arm forever why am I feeling like this? "What did he say about your mate?" I asked breathing in his hypnotizing scent "Well your my mate silly" he chuckled lightly.

"Wait...what?" I said pushing him off me

"Ever since I've came back I felt more possessive over you, that I needed tone closer to you, to feel are body's together which meant that your my mate" he said with a wide grin but what about Jake?
"Don't worry babe I'll never let anything hurt you even of that means taking my life because I love you" Cole said pulling me into his arms giving a sweet, soft, warm kiss on the lips. I've kiss only 3 boys before but it never felt like this it had my body tingling, wanting more.

"I don't want you ever to forget that your mines and I don't like to share what's mine" he said in a husky voice, then Mr. and Mrs. Jones and Vanessa came threw the door hugging me uncontrollably they all gasped at the sight of my eye color. Mrs.Jones and Vanessa broke down crying, I'd almost forgot that Cole was in the room suddenly I felt warm hands around my waist when I looked up it was Cole.

"Mariah I must tell you that now you are Elemental hybrid that you need to keep your anger under control it's way more serious now then ever and I do believe that Mr.Cole here and I can help you but it might take a few weeks, are you up for it ?" Mr.Jones said as Cole nodded

I took a deep breath "Lets do this!" I said with an smirk looking at everyone in the room. That's when 'he' came through the door and everything went black.
