Esmee(POV)

I woke up to Chirstofor shaking my bed. I sat up, and looked at him. "It better be important. What do you need?" I asked, glaring at him. "Ava told me your a healer." Christofor said. "What did you do?" I asked, more worried. "Not me, Leroy, he got shot." He said and I stood up, pushing him out of the way. "How could you let this happen?" I questioned, walking down the hallway. "Leroy was reckless. Even ask Garrin, he felt like he needed to prove himself to a lady he saw." He said and I walked into the healing room, and grabbed some tweezers, bandages and alcohol. I turned Leroy over slightly, examining his back. "The bullet didn't go through. Grab me a cloth so I can put the bullet in it." I told Christofor and he left to go bring me some cloth. I stuck the tweezers in Leroy and he screeched. I pulled the tweezers out as soon as I felt something click. It was a little bullet, hopefully it didn't damage anything important in his stomach. I placed the tweezers on the counter and grabbed the alcohol and rubbed it on his wound and poured some on the bandage, and wrapped it around him. Christofor ran back in and I stared at Leroy, he didn't move. I placed my ear on his chest, hearing a faint heartbeat, and sighed. "Your glad you made it, he wouldn't have. I'll stay here and keep a eye on him and his heartbeat. I'll come get you when he wakes up." I said, sitting on the chair.

I looked at Leroy and checked his pulse, he was well alive, his heartbeat more frequent then before. He sat up and I lifted my hand from his wrist. "Good, your alive. How do you feel?" I asked and he winced, grabbing his wound. "I feel worse then I did when I got shot." Leroy said. "I could just put the maggots in and make it ten times worse." I said and he shook his head, standing up. I rushed to him and helped support him. "You need to rest. You're not ready to walk yet." I said. "I'm doing this for her." He said. "How are you going to impress someone if they aren't in the same room?" I asked. "I know she would want me to stand strong." Leroy said. "Have you even talked to her?" I asked. "No." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Well then, until you meet her, it's you that wants yourself to stand strong." I said, opening the door. I walked down the hallway slowly, supporting Leroy till we stopped in the main room. "He's alright." Arno said and Clementine stopped him from hugging Leroy. "If you cannot see, he's not in the best shape for a hug." Clementine said and I sat Leroy down, and he looked at everyone, then at me. "Merci.(Thank you)" He said and I nodded.
