Esme's POV
Leroy was about to take off my clothes, but I stopped him. "What's wrong?" He asked. "I can't have sex, not at least until I'm married. So I can bear a child without troubles." I said. He sat up and looked away. I looked at the ground and sighed.
"I'm sorry... If you don't want to see me anymore, I understand." I said looking away. "Hey, I'm not like that, I wouldn't want to break your heart just cause I can't have something. I already have something." He said.
I softly smiled and kissed him, and we slowly separated. I walked out and Clementine was waiting outside of the door. "Can we talk, alone?" She nervously said. I nodded and looked at Leroy, shutting the door. "What is it?" I said. "I'm pregnant." Clementine said. I slapped her. "What is wrong with you? If Ava found out she would kick us both out." I said.
"Not you, me." She said. "It's best to tell her. Not for her to find out." I said. "But, you need to tell her, not me." I said. She looked at me. "You always tell her." She said.
"I always back you up, have to push you back on your own feet. This time, you need to put yourself back on your own feet." I said walking into my room and shutting the door.
