Chapter 17

Leroy's POV

I comforted Esme, hearing footsteps on the roof. It was Alexis. "Hey Leroy, maybe after your done here, we could go out on a date?" Alexis asked, sitting next to me. I showed her my marriage ring, but quickly putted it away. "Alexis I know your games." I tried to say calmly. "What games?" She asked innocently. "I know your doing this to hurt Esme, but you can just stop. She's married. You can just fuck off." Now I was pissed. "Excuse me? I'm not playing any games!" She said furious. "Then why are you going after every guy she dates?" I said. Alexis glared at me. "She destroyed my love! She did the same thing and Im trying to return the favor." Alexis snapped. "But you only had to do it once! Not five million fucking times! I'm done with your shit. Get the fuck out of here before I kick your ass!" I yelled. "Fuck you Leroy! You know, you could've had this." She pointed to herself. "I don't want a dirty whore." I said, Esme put her head in the crook of my neck.

Alexis got angry, and started walking off the rooftops. "I told you, I won't leave your side." I said smiling. She looked at me and smiled back.

She hugged me, and I hugged her back. "I made a commitment and I intend to keep it." I said. "So do I." Esme smiled.

Garrin's POV

Alexis kissed me, but I pushed her away. "What the hell?" I said. "Come on, you know you want it." She said, trying to grab me closer. I slapped her hard, leaving a red hand print.

"Don't touch me!" I yelled. Christofor pushed me against the wall. "Don't touch her." Chris said. "She was trying to touch me!" I said.

"It's true." A voice, so sweet said. It was Jada. "I saw everything. She was trying to get on him. By kissing him, then tried pulling him closer." Jada said quietly.

Alexis angrily, pushed Jada into the wall, then started walking towards Arno's room. Chris let me go, and sighed. I softly hugged him. "Go." I said.

Arno's POV

Alexis barged in, the look on her face when she saw Clementine. "Arno, do you wanna go out?" She asked desperately. "No." I simply said. "Why?" She whined. "Because we have a baby to take care of." Clementine said. Clementine put the baby in the crib. "What's it's name?" Alexis said, coming closer. "Jace." I said.

"Hi Jace." Alexis said, on the rail of the crib. She put up her fist, about to punch the baby. Clementine grabbed her fist, twisting it behind her. She forced Alexis out, making her run into Chris.

Christofor's POV

I caught Alexis in my arms. "I thought you liked me." I said, dropping her. "I never did. Turns out I'm not ready for a commitment." She said. Ava stood there. "Alexis." She said.

"Mentor I can explain." Alexis pleaded. "No. Get out now!" Ava demanded. "But Clem produced a child." Alexis tried changing the subject. "Yes, I know, I said she could." Ava said. "Get out now! And never come back." Ava demanded. Alexis ran out.

Another girl came in. "Who are you?" Ava asked. "I'm the new recruit. Hi, I'm Lilli." She said. "Hi Lilli, this is Christofor." Ava said. Lilli smiled, and waved. "I heard that there were other assassins, um, Garrin, Leroy, Arno, Clem, Jada and Es." She said. "Who's Es?" I asked. "Esme. She's Clem's sister." Lilli said.

Lilli's POV

Clementine came out. "Lilli?" She said. "Hi Clem." I said back. She quickly hugged me. Leroy and Esme came inside. "Lilli?" Esme said.

"Hi Es." I said hugging her. She hugged me back. I looked at Leroy. "Hi Leroy, you must be married to Esme, am I correct?" I said. He slowly nodded. I smiled. "How do you know all of us?" Ava asked.

"Esme is my best friend, she has been sending me letters, and so has Garrin, Garrin is my brother." I softly said, looking around, seeing him at the end. I softly moved passed Leroy and Esme, running to him. I hugged him. "I missed you brother." I said hugging him. "I missed you too sister." Garrin said. I let him go.
