Amanda's POV

I walked into the classroom to see everyone in a circle around two guys fighting. One of
them looked perfectly fine, the other, not so much. "Oh, how sad. He can even get up! I told you, you're just a peasant. Stop trying to be like the rest of us!" The uninjured guy yelled. He then got a book and threw it at the other guy. He dodged it and then the book flew and hit me in the face. It hit me hard and then I fell on my butt. "Ow! What the heck!" I yelled. Everyone turned their attention to me. "Oh my. I'm sorry you got mixed up in all of this!" said the guy who was now walking over to me. "Maybe we could leave all this fighting behind and have a little chat. You know, to get to know each other." When I was about to protest, I then see two girls stand in front of me and scratch him in the face. "I don't think she wants to see you right now, Nick." I look to see a girl with brown hair, red wolf ears, and a tail. The other girl also had brown hair, but she had blue cat ears and a tail. "Leave her alone and stop picking fights with people," the cat girl said. Everyone then went in their own groups after and the two girls looked at me. "Hey, are you ok? Just don't mind Nick. He can be a real jerk sometimes," the wolf girl said. "Oh yeah, I'm fine. Thank you," I replied as both girls helped me up. "I'm Naomi. Naomi Sayla," the wolf girl said. "And this amazing person here is Nia!" Naomi said, pointing to the cat girl. "I'm Amanda Redding!" I said with a smile. "Amanda. What a pretty name! So do you have powers? Are you a cat, wolf, demon, or something?" Nia asked me. "No, I'm just a human. Nothing special. I just want to know why I'm in this class," I told them. "Well, since you're here. do you want to sit with us?" Naomi asked cheerfully. "Sure!" I said. We talked until the teacher came in. She was very cool and didn't care if we messed up the place. When the bell rang, my new friends and I parted ways. When I was walking out, someone ran into me. "Oh, I'm sorry!" I told the person. "Next time watch where you're going," he said. I looked up to see that the guy was beat up. He then walked off. "Rude," I muttered as he walked away. When I got home, I ate and went to go draw for a little bit. Then I went to bed thinking of what might happen tomorrow
