Jason's POV
I was walking around on Lilith Street looking for Amanda's house. I finally saw her house. It was two stories high and their was I little balcony for one of the rooms. I rang the door bell and then someone opened the door. I saw a woman with blonde hair wearing a light purple shirt and some blue jeans. She looked at me then smiled. "Hello! You must be Jason. Are you here to work on the project with Amanda?" She asked. "Oh um hello. Yes I am here to see her. Is she home?" I asked "Oh yeah she's here. Can you do me a favor though?" She asked me. "Umm ok..." I said. "You see Amanda hates being scared. I was wondering, can you please scare her?" She told me. "Why do I need to scare her?" I asked. "Well, she went to go get ice cream with her friends and didn't bring me back any and she knows I love ice cream!" She said. "Um ok I guess" I said. "Yay! If you do this I'll give you a brownie and some hot chocolate!" She said.
"Umm. Ok" I said. "She's just up stairs. Go down the hall then turn to the right." She told me. I walked inside and took my shoes off. I walked up stairs and went down the hall. I heard her singing. I secretly walked in her room. I looked around. Her room was all purple and had posters of anime and games on the wall. There were fairy lights over her bed. Her desk was by the balcony and had Pop Funko's on it. She had her headphones in and was singing. I slowly crept up behind her. I then pushed her forward and screamed. " AAAAAAHHHH!!!" She screamed. She looked at me and glared. "WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU DO THAT?!!! ARE YOU ASKING FOR A DEATH WISH?!?!" She screamed. She took her headphones off and got up. "It's not like I wanted to do it. Your mom told me to do it." I told her. " WHY WOULD SHE SAY THAT??" She asked. Then Amanda's mom walked in. "I told him to do that because you didn't bring me back some ice cream!" She told her. "Really. That is the dumbest reason to do that." Amanda said. "Well you deserved that. You know I love ice cream. I told you too. Every time you go get ice cream, you bring me back some." She said. "Fine you win." Amanda told her. "Yay! Also Jason you get that brownie and hot chocolate I promised." Amanda's mom skipped away. "She promised food?" Amanda asked. "What? You can't turn down food." I told her. "True. " she agreed. "Well, the project is due Friday but I think we should just get it done so we don't need to do it later." She said. "Ok that's fine with me." I said.
