"Stark, you do know that I can apparate straight inside the building right?" I suggest over the comm.
"You're still not allowed to go inside." Tony said in a sing-songy voice.
"But-" I began to protest.
"No buts, young lady. Think it great that I even allowed you to accompany us in this mission."
"Fine!" I exasperated.
I turned on my heels and saw a guard aim his riffle at me. I put my palm up, facing his way and muttered, "Stupefy."
A blast of bluish white light spurted from my hands, and the man fell back and onto the floor, "It would've been stronger if it was night." I grumbled.
"It looks so glorious, though." Clint marvelled at my magic skills.
I apparated and disapparated at various time intervals, and even saved Clint's sorry ass about 5 times. Even the Hulk couldn't help but chortle at that. And speaking of the Hulk, he was a huge, green monster with bulging blue veins on his neck, forhead, arms, everywhere.
Thor, using his lightning powers, helped defeat most of the guards. A quick thought ran through my mind and I aimed numerous spells randomly at the guards, "Remind me again, guys, is Thor the god of thunder or lightning? I expected him to defeat the guards by deafening them to death."
"Alex, you read my mind. When I first saw Sparkles, I expected him to do that." Tony said, in between breaths.
"We all know what I could do when I first saw your ugly face in that forest, Stark." Thor replied over the comm.
"Guys, I'm going in." Tony said, as I saw him zoom over my head in that suit.
Oh, dear, that suit. It mesmerized me so, so much. It was a beautiful creation, and I'm happy that Tony used it in a good way. I turned and saw Steve on the motorcycle, a few guards chasing him.
"They never learn, do they?" I cursed, running towards Steve's chasers, and yelling spells at them. On the comm, I heard Tony say, "Shit!"
"Language!" Steve reprimanded.
"I'm fine!!" Tony practically yells.
"Jarvis, what's the view from upstairs?" Steve commands the AI.
Jarvis' voice begins to fill in my ear, "The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is way beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken."
I yelled a few other spells, and after a moment or so, Thor insisted, "Loki's sceptre must be here. Strucker couldn't mount his defence without it. At long last."
I looked around me; nobody attacked me, but, no farther on my right side, a blast took place and I immendiately knew it was Nat. She commented, "The long last his lasting a little long, guys."
"Yeah, I think we lost the element of surprise." Clint said.
"Aguamenti." I say, and the water emerges from the ground and splatters all over the guards around me. Yeah, that's right, I can control it. Especially since the Big Three, that is, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon gave their share of territory to Hecate as well. Obviously, we children of Hecate inherited it, too.
"Sir," Jarvis began, "The city is taking fire."
"We all know Strucker's not gonna worry about civilian casualties." I rolled my eyes, making my way towards Cap, who gave me a thumbs up and said, "Good job!"
I smiled in return as Tony sighs, "Yeah, you're right. Send in the Iron Legion." He commands Jarvis.
There was a moment of silence on the comms, and Steve mused, "You would make a good avenger."
