LOVE AGAIN

NIKHIL PROPOSES

Nikhil took her to an exclusive restaurant which was a famous haunt of many television stars.

It was such a popular place that reservation was required in advance .

A beautifully decorated table for two had been reserved for them. It was a round table with a scented candle in the middle and a small vase with one red rose .

Nikhil held out the chair for her to sit . This was one of those things which made her love him more . He knew how to treat a lady .

First they were served soups and salad . These days Niharika had become very choosy with respect to food do he had carefully ordered whatever she liked .

Sweet corn chicken soup and green salad was fillowed by steamed rice fish in butter lemon sauce and hong kong style chicken .

During dinner Nikhil was not his usual self . He was very quiet as if something was weighing on his mind .

Once or twice Niharika started the conversation but he simply nodded so she carried on with her dinner .

Niharika herself was not well . Since morning she had a stomach pain which had increased now . She barely picked the food . Nikhil knew she had mood swings so he didn't force hertoo eat the food.

In anycase he his mind eas also not in the food and he was nervous . Niharika eas an independent woman so she might reject his proposal . This thought was worrying him.

At last they finished dinner . He had arranged for the ring to be brought in a heart shaped chocolate cake .

When Nikhil asked for desert she declined . However he insisted that their chocolate cakewas pure bliss si she agreed.

Five musicians brought the cake . They were carrying guitars and were playing the song " I just called to say I love ❤️ you."

When she looked at the cake it had a huge ruby ring in the centre and had Will you marry me ?" Written on it .

The entire scene was so romantic that tears entered her eyes . She was sohappy that she hugged him and cried .

" Will you marry me Niharika?" Nikhil asked.

But before she could answer she felt dizzy and a terrible pain clutching her stomach . She screamed in pain and became unconscious.
