LOVE AGAIN

THE NEXT MEETING

  When Nikhil dropped Sneha he seemed to be in a bad mood.

" Come Nikhil lets have a cupof tea together and then you may leave"

"No Jiya I have an important meeting do I can't stay "

" Come for dinner then"

Nikhil could never refuse Jiya so he accepted.

He reached her place at 8 PM. Sagar and Jiya were sitting together lost in each other.

He could see that they were still very much in love. He missed this . He knew that he still loved Jiya butshe had never loved him and she was very happy with Sagar.

But at times like this he felt lonely .

"Come Nikhil what will you have a beer or a whiskey "

"I am not in the mood for a drink. I will just take a glass of wine"

Jiya sat with them with a glass of orange juice " Now tell me why were you in such a bad mood today?"

" Sneha teacher accused me of kidnapping her "

" What ?" and she started laughing.

Nikhil looked at Jiya wistfully. Sagar could see that Nikhil still had strong feelings for his wife but he trusted her and moreover Nikhil was his best friend since school.

" But Mrs Menon is not like that "

"It was someone else . I think they called her Niharika "

" She was such an arrogant girl accusing me of deceiving her that I was Sagar when she presumed it herself. I would never like to meet her again"

Jiya was quite amused st hus admission because she had invited Niharika for dinner tonight.

The bell rung and Jiya went to open the door.

Just then Niharika entered carrying flowers for Jiya.

" How was your day dear?"

"Don't ask. Today I met such a handsome man who literally took my breath away but he was such an arrogant pig"

Saying this she entered their living room and was surprised to find the arrogant pig sitting there with Sagar.

He was still very handsome dressed in the formal blue suit but his tie loosened and a glass if wine in his hand.

Sagar looked up and hugged Niharika ," Welcome dear . Let me introduce you my best friend from school Nikhil Garg "

"Hi Nikhil"

She was beautiful in a black jeans and red off shoulder top. Though her hair was short it suited her image . She was pretty but when she smiled she looked gorgeous.

"I believe we have already met since I am the arrogant pig in her story"

Niharika fell embarrassed.

"Niharika since you have called my friend a pig you need to apologise and take him for a cup of coffee tomorrow "

Dinner was a pleasant affair. Niharika was good naturedand she laughed a lot . She noticed that Nikhil did not laugh much . He was of the serious kind.

However he seemed to be besotted with Jiya following her every movement.

Jiya however treated him as a friend.

Niharika liked him but she needed tocheck with Jiya what her situation with Nikhil was .
