"Jade! Jade! Come on your gonna make yourself&your brother late" Dad shouts as he makes his way back into the house.

"What's going on?"

"Just take Ewan to school Nick. We will talk about this when you home later &when I know what's going on" mom tells dad, he didn't say anything he just pulled us both into a hug then left.

"Now babygirl. Let's calm down aye&then we will talk about what's happening. Come on deep breaths"

After around 5 minutes my breathing finally evened out. I didn't say anything, I just sat silently. I didn't know how to start the conversation because it's just so stupid.

"You going to tell me what's going on baby?" Mom finally says

"I don't like school" I state

"Okay but we have talked about this before haven't we ey? Nobody likes school really but it's apart of life &you have to go baby girl"

"I don't wanna go" I say tearing up once again

"I know you don't but you need to go" she insists

"I can't go"

"It's the law, you need to go baby girl. You know that,we have had this conversation before. Are you gonna tell me the real reason you don't want to go"

"It's stupid" I say

"Baby it's not at all stupid if it's stopping you from going to school. Come on you can tell me you know you can always talk to me"

"I'm scared"

"Scared of school?"she questions, I don't speak I just nod my head

"That's not at all stupid I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way baby but once you get to school you'll be fine"

"No I won't be, please don't make me go. I hate it" I say starting to cry once again. Mom quickly pulls me into her trying to calm me down

"Okay okay, I'm not going to make you. We will talk about it when dad gets back okay. But if you are gonna do full time homeschool you need to promise you will focus and there will be no slacking off!"

"I promise"

"Okay good, we will talk more about this later okay but for now go get out of your uniform& into some comfy clothes. I'll cancel my studio session today & we will have a movie day, sound good?"

I nod my head in response before walking upstairs to my room.

I'm so happy that my mom is so understanding I didn't except her response at all. If I'm being honest I thought she would've laughed in my face because it's so stupid. Even though she said it isn't I know it is. I'm just glad I don't have to go to school.

When I get into my room I quickly walk to my closet picking out some shorts & a baggy t shirt. I quickly change& take off the little makeup I put on before heading back downstairs to the living room with mom.
