"Jade! Come on, it's time to get up"Mom says as she walks into my room. She has been trying to wake me up for the past hour but I keep going back to sleep.

I sit up in my bed deciding I've put it off long enough & I don't want to make mom mad. I grab my phone from my bedside table & start to scroll through Twitter.

It's not long before mom returns to my room & my phone is snatched out of my hands, I look up to see mom rather annoyed.

"Jade, I told you to get up 10 minutes ago and that didn't mean play on your phone! Come on go get ready, it's almost noon. We are going for brunch"

"Who's going?"

"Me, you & your dad. We need to talk about school,then we can move on from it okay?"

"Yeah yeah whatever"

"Heyy missy no cheek please, be ready in 15" she says, throwing my phone onto my bed.

I don't know why I'm still soo tired but I know I need to get up. So I do, I walk into my bathroom first& turn on my shower. Then I walk into my closet to pick out a outfit, I grab some black jeans & I just grab a striped crop top. I'm not too bothered what I look like today so this shall do. I quickly grab some underwear before returning to my bathroom, I turn my speakers on, get undressed & then I shower.

I've just got dressed into my outfit I'm now drying my hair a little just because I don't want to go out with it dripping. I don't dry it all the way I leave it damp& put it into a high pony to let it air dry. I'm trying to hurry because mom has been shouting me for the past 5 minutes. I quickly moisturise my face before running down the stairs.

"Finally the queen is ready, DEMI she's ready!" Dad says as I enter the kitchen before shouting mom.

"Oh shut up, I didn't take that long" I say as mom walks into the room.

"Oh your here, I was just about to come & get you. You look beautiful today baby girl . You should go without makeup more often, you don't need it"Mom says hugging me, I thank her

"Let's head out. The reservation is for 45 minutes but you know how bad traffic can be"Dad says, mom agrees & they walk into the garage. I grab my vans from the hall before following them.

I put my shoes on the car floor & take my seat. I hardly ever actually put my shoes on before I leave I always have to bring them to the car because I'm always the last one to be ready.

Mom turns the radio on& funnily enough 'cool for the summer' is playing. We all laugh as we hear it, even though the song is old now it surprisingly still gets played quite often.

We have been in the restaurant now for about 15 minutes we have just ordered drinks. I got a water, mom & dad both got a coffee. So far there hasn't been much conversation well from me anyway. I've just been on my phone, I'm avoiding conversation right now because I'm scared that this won't go well & my dad will make me go to school.

"Can you put your phone down jade, we need to talk" Mom says, I nervously look up at her before placing my phone on the table

"You don't have to be so nervous baby girl, your okay calm down!" Mom says softly reaching for my hand across the table

"What's going on jadey, why don't you want to go to school?"Dad asks, I don't say anything I look at mom in hopes she would help me out

"Jade can you tell your dad what you told me yesterday?" Mom asks

"Can't you tell him please, it's stupid"

"Honey whatever it is I'm sure it not stupid if it's stopping you from going to school" Dad says, I may as well just tell him because either way he's finding out.

"I'm scared of going to school?" I say nervously but more of a question I don't know how he's gonna react to that. I look down at my feet trying my hardest not to make eye contact

"Honey look at me" I eventually look up to see his face has softened and he now looks sad? I don't know my dad is hard to read

"It's not stupid okay? How long have you felt this way"

"I don't know, not long just since we started getting ready to go back to school"

"Why didn't you talk to us sooner, you know we would never judge you. We just want what's best for you" Dad asks

"I that thought you'd laugh&make me go to school"I say truthfully, breaking eye contact looking towards my feet again

"If you really don't feel comfortable going to school your mom& aren't gonna make you. But if your gonna be homeschooled the grades need to stay up, no slacking!"

"Okay i promise"

"Good"

"Are we done talking about this now?" I ask, just wanting to move on

"Yes for now we are but baby you have to start talking to us more okay? I don't want you feeling scared or uncomfortable about any situation just talk to us next time & we will help! We will sort everything out, you can have this week off but next week you'll be starting schooling"  Mom says, I smile but nod my head in agreement. Ayye one more week of summer!

"Now get over here and give me a hug" Dad says, I laugh but do as he says walking around the table to him falling into his arms.

"I love you princess"He says as he kisses my forehead. "Love you too" I reply

We pull away from the hug and I make my way over to mum hugging her also. She returns the hug pulling me into her lap, I snuggle into her neck.

"Love you momma" I say sweetly, she looks up at me smiling. "I love you more!" I laugh before getting out of her lap and returning to my seat

I'm so grateful for my parents, I know I'm very lucky to have parents as understanding as mine.

"You know I'm actually pretty excited for you to be homeschooling. I'll have my little shadow always"Mom says

"That's the truth, always been mommy little girl haven't you?"Dad says, laughing a little

"You jealous dad?"I laugh

"Not at all because your still my little girl"

A/N: sooo it's been awhile haha, again I'm sorry. Right now I'm trying to pre write some chapters so let's see how that goes. Hopefully there will be another update soon but I can't promise anything, if your still reading this after all this time thankyou!
