Jade's P.O.V.

Instead of going straight home after school I went to the park not really wanting to go home. It was only 3:00 so I decided to sit on one of the benches and complete my homework for the night. As I was pulling out my geometry homework a voice spoke behind me. "You're early sweetheart." I jumped a little and turned so that I was facing Cody. I tried to think of some kind of lie to justify me being here so early. I don't think he would believe me if I said I got the time wrong. "My parents are away at work and I didn't really want to sit in a stuffy house for hours. I like the outside much better." Well, it was a half-truth.

He seemed to analyze me for a bit before saying,"Yea me too." I released a breath I hadn't realized I'd been holding when he sat on the bench next to me. "Decide to get a head start on your homework while you waited?" He asked gesturing down at the homework in my lap. "Yea, but if you'd rather us talk instead of you sitting there watching me do my homework we can." He stood up and said,"Sorry sweetheart, but the boys are already here."

I turned my head to see a flashy red car with Daniel in the driver's seat and Cody in the back. I swiftly threw my work into my bag and slung it over my shoulder. The ride was silent until we arrived in front of a house. "This is my place," Josh said breaking the silence. "My parents are away so we can stay here." We all exited the car, walking into the house.

It wasn't anything fancy with hardwood floors, cream colored walls, and simple furniture. The only thing odd was that the only pictures on the walls were of the boys, none of Josh and his parents. I decided not to question him on it and instead followed them upstairs to a large bedroom. It had a light floor, blue and white walls, and a large queen bed in the middle. On the bed were countless bags from different clothing and shoes stores. I walked to the bag closest to me and peeked inside. I felt my cheeks heat up and I pulled the black silk lingerie out of the bag holding it up with one hand.

"Why would I need this?" I asked. The boys all shared a look before Cody spoke up. "Well, you are supposed to be seducing him sweetheart." My jaw probably dropped low enough to hit the ground. "You didn't say I'd actually have to sleep with him!" My face and neck were both red and I was gripping the lingerie in my hand. I was more embarrassed than angry. "That's just in case things get drastic," Josh said with a wary voice.

I calmly set the lingerie down on the bed and just as calmly said,"If I will have to actually sleep with him I'm out." The boys shared another look. That was really starting to get annoying. "Fine," Daniel said. Our eyes all snapped to him. "You don't have to sleep with him. Just make him fall for you and get close enough to him so that if you snap your fingers he comes running. Cool?" I nodded my head in response and went to get rid of all the Victoria's Secret bags. "You're keeping the bra and panty sets though," Daniel said pointing to the bags in my hands. "I already told you I won't need them." "What if you're playing truth or dare with Tobias and his friends and your dare is to take your top off? Do you really think you'll be able to seduce him wearing a black and white polka dotted bra?"

I stared at Daniel suspiciously. How does he know I have a black and white polka dotted bra? "Don't ask," Josh and Cody said at the same time. I swear it's like they just read my mind. I shook the thought from my head and set the bags back on the bed. They informed me that there was going to be a party tonight that I would be attending in order to get closer to Tobias. "I have to be home by midnight," I said seriously. Jordan laughed and said,"Relax Cinderella. It's not like your car is going to turn into a pumpkin." Cody laughed along with him and I even heard Daniel chuckle a bit.

"I'm serious. I have to be home by midnight no matter what." The boys all shared a look. Why do they always do that? Josh sighed and nodded silently telling me I would be home in time. "Great. Now what should I wear?" Cody got a mischevious look on his face and said,"I'll handle that." I'm honestly a little scared. After an hour or two I emerged from the bedroom. Of course having made Cody wait outside while I changed, no matter how much he begged for me to let him stay in the room.

I was wearing a tight black dress with dark eyeshadow, bright red lipstick, and black heels. The dress stopped a little above midthigh and I have to admit that I look good. I would never have worn anything like this on my own because people would have been giving me all of their attention. Something I didn't really like. The dress covered my stomach and it had long sleeves to cover my arms. I was silently thankful for that. The boys stared at me as I walked down the stairs, not saying a word.

"Will you please say something? It's creepy that you're just staring at me." I stopped at the last step waiting for them to reply. "You look amazing," Josh said gushing over my outfit. "Wow sweetheart. I told you were a babe." I looked to Daniel waiting for his opinion. He stared me up and down, taking in every detail, making me feel more self conscious than I had ever felt. "You look beautiful," he finally said smiling. Like an actual smile. I smiled back and let them walk me from the house.

When we were in front of the party the boys told me to be careful and that they'd be in the same spot waiting for me at 11:30. I stepped out of the car and immediately eyes were on me. The boys left before anyone could recognize them. Since I had never been to a party before they told me the rules. 1: never leave my drink unattended. 2: don't take drinks from anyone. And 3: don't be afraid to punch a guy if he decides to get handsy. I laughed a bit when they told me the third rule but quickly stopped when I saw that they were completely serious.

Boys stared at me as I walked past with a dreamy look on thier faces and the girls they had just been talking with looked extremely annoyed. There was a bouncer by the door to keep out any unwanted party guests. He was tall with dark skin, a tux, and sunglasses. Why would he need to wear those if it's dark? I don't understand this logic. The boys had told me what to say when I reached the door so I repeated it now. "I'm here for Tobias." I batted my eyelashes a bit, still surprised at the fact that Cody knew how to do make-up but apparently he has an older sister who used to use him as a human barbie. Off topic, Jade. The bouncer looked me up and down before putting his hand on the small of my back. He talked loudly so that I would hear him over the music. "I'll show you the way." Please let tonight end well.
