Manik came closer to her n asked can we talk to which Nandini nodded...

M: Jaan what do you want as a gift (yes it was their ritual they gift from each other on their birthdays n they’re bound to give what's been asked for)...Manik Malhotra is giving you his word 😎😎 you’ll get whatever you want. Just ask for it….for last 10 years I’ve craved for your present on my birthdays but this year we’ll celebrate in our style 😁😁😁

N: (calmly) Manik are you sure, you can give what I want? You won't back-out?

To which Manik nodded in positive n that's when it hit him what she might ask from him. But he kept quiet as what is done is done, so he was waiting for her to say it loud. He looked at her with a hurt expression as his heart is going to be crushed brutally n he himself invited it. He was waiting for Nandini to crush his heart, his inner self mocked at the irony. N here Nandini was organizing her words which she wanted to say him for a long time, which remained unsaid. Now she’ll put her unsaid words in front of him. Gathering her thoughts finally she spoke…

N: Well...2 things actually. 1st I want you to hear me out without any interruption n the 2nd you already know but I’ll spell it out for you once I am done with my talks. You might wonder I never wanted to talk to you in past 10 years so why now? Well, to be honest, Manik I never intended to talk to you until now. Yes never felt the need to talk to you, not even when you came back for good, until you’ve crossed your limits. Manik you know I was really shattered when I had to leave you n go to Mangalore. I couldn't set my foot there my family went through this mishap. Amms...(she got emotional but soon composed herself) well Amms left me, Mamma, Baba, Rishab was bed ridden. I had to stay strong for Shaurya. You know all I wanted to do was run to your arms. But you were not there Manik….you were not there. I tried to contact you many times but I couldn't, I just couldn't. All the time Neil was there for me like a true friend. But I always missed you, that's when I realized I loved you. Yes Manik I used to love you. I was so naive to think you also love me n you also pretended to do so. Then you did your famous artwork (chuckled sarcastically). You know Manik.people called me names….wanna hear 1 listen how about little horny swine…..there’s more….you know Manik for days I couldn't get out of my home coz people would’ve recognised me n bash me for throwing myself on you. Had been some1 else in my place then God knows what she’d do in misery, I was strong enough to survive this. I only know how I managed to gather myself, I was broken every single day n I had to gather those broken pieces together to live. You have no idea how it felt n you say I’ve punished you by ignoring you for 10 years (sighed)....you know all the time who was there with me? Neil...yes he’s the 1. He never left my side even when he knows I can never reciprocate the love he has for me. Unlike you he never forced himself on me. Manik do you know how disgusting a girl feels when some1 forcefully touches her….right how would you know...if you’d known you’d ve never done that. N look at the irony it doesn't stop here...the list doesn't end Manik….you’ve married me forcefully. N me I am so worthless that I let you treat me like a trash can. I so hate myself for this. I hate myself for loving you. I kept quiet for my family but not anymore...I’ll tell them everything once I get home….I can't take it any longer. N 2nd thing is from this very moment don't force yourself on me. N yeah I won't ask you to freed me from this marriage bond coz I am not bound to you by any means. Here take this giving her wedding chain back to Manik. Have a very happy birthday Manik...with that she left leaving a shattered Manik behind. That night was really a long night for Manik, his agony knew no bounds, tears were not stopping…..he felt ashamed of himself. He didn't knew what to think, what to do, where to go….how to find a way out of this mess. Coz nothing can undo what he did earlier….n there's no 1 who could be with him at this time. Crying for hours he slept being tired. The next morning Manik woke up with swollen eyes n a broken heart the 1st thing he did was search for HIS LOVE HIS WIFE HIS NANDU but then reality hit him hard that from now on whenever he woke up in the morning he won't see HER EVER...his tears were flowing like a stream but then he was pushed back to reality by a phone call. It was Dhruv’s call asking him to come to the set on time. He asked Dhruv to give him some time to which he agreed. Then he started to write a letter to Nandini...

MANIK’S POV:

I deserve this.... I so freaking deserve this. I thought I was being punished for being innocent, but I m a sinister that is why I'm being punished. I only had Nandini in my life, yes now its Nandini coz I dont have any right on her….it hurts, it freaking hurts…. But I deserve this, for a sinister like me deserves to be punished...yes may be more than this….I don't know if I can ever make it up for the sins I did to Jaan….err its Nandini….but I will try n this will be my last time pouring my heart out to her…..I will always love her but from now on I won't wait for her return to my life….I will try to be happy my friends settling in their lives getting married, having family, kids...well someday Nandini….will also be having kids with some1...it freaking hurts to think like that n I will have to witness this with my eyes….but I deserve this punishment. Its okay...coz at least Nandini will be happy not with me but with some1 else….it is okay….even it is not...it has to be….

END OF POV

Manik started to pack his bags to move out of the apartment….he kept the letter, apartment keys n their marriage certificate on the table so that Nandini gets it. He was about to move out of the room but he stopped remembering something. He took out the infinity bracelet he was wearing n kept it with the letter n the certificate. He gave the room last glance n left with his luggage. He opened the main door that is when Raonak came (Raonak went back to Mumbai for some business purpose n he came back as soon as he was finished as he didnt want to miss Maniks birthday). He hugged Manik n wished him. Then he saw Maniks luggages n he asked about it n Manik kept silent….then Raonak forced him to blurt everything out. After listening to all these Raonak was agitated as to how can things go wrong with Manik every single time. But he composed himself… asked Manik to wait for a bit he will accompany him to the shooting. To which Manik agreed. Raonak came back with his luggage n asked Manik to move out. Manik didn't say anything silently sat in the car n they drove to the shooting location. When they reached shooting location every1 wished him on his birthday except Nandini, it pained him but he knew it...n he didnt show how hurt he was. There fab5 planned a surprise for him.....
