Chapter 9

Continuation where Manik leaves Nandini's room after pecking her nose....
After Manik left Nandini released her breath she didn’t know she was holding..she thought he would kiss her on her lips...but Thank god he didn’t….but Manik did his job perfectly…..Maniks words created havoc in her mind….she was a person who’s very sorted just like her mother. She was very clear in her head about every single point of her life, she was badly broken what happened 10 years back….she survived it. She loved Manik with all her heart....when Manik broke her heart she was hurt but she could never hate him, they say you can never hate the person once you’ve loved. She herself was amazed at the fact that she couldn't hate Manik, at 1st it bothered her then gradually she realized that how could she hate Manik??? She’s fallen out of love with him. Yes she felt humiliated which hurted her ego but it was also true that she didn't feel anything for him. So she thought to ignore his existence n that would be better as she didn't have to feel disgusted all over again. She was okay with however she dealt with it n she couldn't give much attention to that silly matter. Today listening to Manik she got confused, Manik made her reconsider her thoughts….to clarify her thoughts she went to her all time favorite place balcony.
Nandini's POV:
Really...did I push Manik to that extent….that he tried to kill himself??? Am I that cruel to push someone to this extent…..did I really punish him??? But how could I, n why would I? Yes I loved him but he never loved me...or did he? Is he really speaking the truth or is he faking it?? God...whom do I ask...n if he’s not faking it then how should I deal with it??? How should I reject him politely??? Wait why do I feel that he isn't faking….he is a good actor in fact a very good one how could I forget that? Before deciding anything I need to find out if he is speaking the truth. Though it really doesn't matter coz in both case my answer is “NO” but the thing is I need to know the truth, I can't take the blame he’s pointing at me….strange isn't it!!! Now I need to check on the fact that if he was speaking the truth or not….the person once I trusted blindly ...the person who used to be “MY POOH” “MY BABY”.....
Nandini was gazing at the stars lost in her thoughts at the same time Manik came to the balcony to gaze stars, to find peace…. (their room was connected through balcony 😁😁😁) Manik saw Nandini decided not to disturb her she was lost in her thoughts..n our Monster was lost in her..both were recalling their past…

Flashback:
Manik came as blessing for both the Malhotras n Murtys. He was their prince. Specially Neyo, Raj, Raman, Ishita were elated to have him in their lives. They were very happy in their lives with their prince….Manik was pampered by his buas, massis, chachus n mamus. Then something unfortunate happened which changed things for 1 n half year baby Maniks life. Raj n Neyo distanced themselves from their prince. His buas, massis, chachus n mamas were no longer allowed to shower him love. Raman n Ishita didnt stop loving him but then again parents love never can be replaced no amount of love can make it up for it n specially when parent are alive. Manik got harshness when he even didn't know the meaning of harshness. He was deprived of his parents love from childhood. He doesn’t remember his parents loving him..his mom was little lenient towards him she even used to show him love while dad was not there, his dad...well he hates the fact that Manik exists… then Ishita was pregnant with Nandu...  “Maniks Nandini”....he waited for Nandini to come out soon to play with him...to pamper him… yes unknowingly when he when he was too little to understand any emotions he had his every hope in Nandini who was yet to come to this world. His Nandini had to pamper him, love him...he was waiting for His Love….she was a ray of light in his little life. Seeing his excitement Raman taught him to call Nandini as “LOVE” n he decided that his princess will marry his prince. Ishita used to get amused with his both demands that he will have a princess n she’ll marry Manik. Raman was so thrilled with these thought that Ishita used to pray that his fantasy gets fulfilled. Finally Nandini was born n Ramans fantasy came alive. But most happiest soul was none other than Manik. Both Raj n Neyo loved Nandini as their princess. As for Manik, he tried being good student n being a well mannered child but nothing worked his father was never loving towards him. Only 2 things could bring him peace..his music n his LOVE..his Nandu 😁😁😁 Nandini was 3 year younger than him. They were each other's constant companion. Nandu used to treat Manik like her child. Manik used to call her MOMY n Nandini used to call him BABY. Whenever his dad misbehave with him he used to run to his momy hug her tightly n cry his heart out. Sometimes he used to hide himself in her tummy n sleep. Nandu being a good momy used to bear her baby's tantrums. Nandu used to feed him like a mother feeds her child n Manik used to throw all the tantrums he could as felt loved. Most of the nights he used to sleep keeping his head in her chest hugging her tight. Nobody at their homes used to say them anything coz they adored their bond n it was their dream to get Manik n Nandini married when they grow up. With the passage of time they grew up n Manik started to have feelings towards Nandini. But he never said anything to his Love as she wasn’t aware of those feelings as she was too innocent to understand. N he didn’t want to lose her. Meanwhile he became friends with Cabir, Mukti, Dhruv n Alya. They were classmates n gradually their bond got deeper n they named their group fav 5. Nandu was also friends with them as they were Maniks friends. They knew about Maniks feelings for Nandini n they were happy for their friend. Two people were jealous of them they were none other than Maddy n Soha. Other than that they were happy in their happy bubble. Soon their bubble burst when all of a sudden Nandini's parents had to shift to Mangalore. Both Manan’s life turned upside down both didn't wanted to get separated but they couldn't do anything.
Maniks side of story:
After Nandini left Maniks whole world became empty without her. Manik wasn't allowed to go to mangalore as his parents didn't allow him. He didn't know how to contact Nandu n Nandu didn't contact him once. Fav4 was there for Manik they consoled him. But Soha n Maddy was hell bent on hurting Manik. They were always saying rubbish about Nandini. They said that Nandini forgot Manik n made new friends She even had a boyfriend as she never loved Manik as he was fatty n ugly. Manik n fav4 didn't believe them. But when Soha showed Neil n Nandini's photos, videos of them enjoying together in different occassions n heard Neil saying he loves Nandini they believed her. ( Soha n Neil were cousins n he used to come to Mumbai during vacations so they knew him n Neil being Nandinis age used to be her friend but of course our Monster Manik used to get jealous of him. He was name RHYNO NEIL by Manik 😂😂😂)Manik was badly broken n so was fav4 seeing their best friend in pain. Cabir n Mukti being Nandinis cousins knew about her situation but their friendship for Manik overpowered their rational thinkinking. They also started to hate Nandini for hurting Manik. Only Dhruv didnt want to belive in all these rubish, but he kept silent. Soon Manik recovered he worked on his looks n fav 5 was a band & they became quite famous. After some times Maniks father was trying to mend their broken relationship. So now all fav5 thought everything was for their fame. So eventually they became rude n arrogant but they were again happy in their own bubble.
Nandini's side of story:
Nandini was very sad for leaving Manik, her Baby. She was crying helplessly. Soon they reached Mangalore her Amms Chacha, Chachi n Rishabh (Chacha Chachi’s son) came to receive them. They left for their home. Chacha, Chachi, Nandini n her brother Shaurya in one car n Raman, Ishita, Amms n Rishabh in another. Nandini n Shorya reached home with chacha n chachi, they were waiting for others to join them. Soon they got call from the hospital stating there was an accident. They went hospital to get devastated. Amms died on spot, Ishita has gone to coma, Raman n Rishabh were bedridden. Nandini felt lost in that situation but she had to take care of Shorya. So she became strong for him n chacha chachi. All the time she missed Manik like nothing she tried to contact him but his home number got changed so she lost contact with him. During this time Neil n Nandini became good friends. Neil loved Nandini but Nandini considered him as her friend only. Nandini got herself busy in studies. Gradually Raman, Ishita n Rishabh recovered. Everything got back to normal during this time Nandini got to know her feelings for Manik. All these years Neil n Nandini became good friends n Nandini became a bit too much chubby as she used to miss Manik n eat a lot. Neil knew about Nandus feelings for Manik, but he kept loving Nandu silently….
When they both met after 5 years:
After 5 years Nandini's family again shifted to mumbai. Raman n Raz decided to join their businesses together n Jannat mansion was under construction by then. Nandu was happy to see Manik after so many years. But Manik had other plans. He kept Nandini under impression that he was in love with her, but actually he was in a relationship with Vebha. Nandini was very happy as she had her Manik n her best friend Neil with her. Manik demanded that that Nandu has to propose him in front of the whole world in one of his concerts. Nandu reluctantly agreed as she can do anything for him.
On the day of concert after the performance:
Nandini went to the stage
N: Manik I’ve got something to show you…(to which fav5 n Veebha smirked evilly) she started a video where their sweet childhood moments n pics were shown which made Manik emotional but he didn’t let it affect him even the audience were getting emotional. When the video ended Nandu went on her knees n said…
Manik Malhotra I don't know when we became friends. All I know is since the time I know myself we’re friends. We were happy in our own little world. But then we separated..that time I missed you..no word can describe how much I missed you...that time I realized we’re more than friends, you’re very very special for me. Now that we’ve met again I don't want to waste time...so here it is Manik Malhotra I love you with all my heart will so I am giving my heart to you will you do me a favor by keeping it to yourself...will you be my boyfriend….
Vh(veebha): What the hell is going on..you bitch how dare you propose my boyfriend??(as soon as Nandini was done with her proposal)
(Fake crying) Manik baby how dare she propose you? You only love me nah…
M: Of course baby (which made Nandini shocked..) She’s acting baby I am innocent. If you don't believe me then ask Cabir n Mukti. I was suspicious that she’d do something like this so I asked Cabir n Mukti to collect evidence. Guys show her in fact why only her show everyone. Cabir n Mukti showed everyone Nandini's texts n gifts to Manik they showed everyone how desperate she was about Manik. Everyone started to badmouth Nandini n made fun of her. Dhruv was standing there helplessly he tried to stop his friends but they didn't listen to her.
M: Nandini Murty what did you think you can trap Manik Malhotra with our crap friendship thing...sorry to burst your bubble you moron...look at me n look at you do you really think you are good for me???..
Nandini was shocked, hurt, betrayed, ashamed, devastated...what not..Neil was there he took Nandini home. After that incident Nandini never met fav5 n soon Manik got chance in MIT,USA so he left for his studies.....
